“I had a few difficulties with the dispatch of my items, and then one turned up without the other. Then finally when the last item turned up it was broken. Over this period I have rang customer service about four times, everytime I have been extremely satisfied with the help I have received. I understand things don't always go to plan with delivery ect, but with the excellent team that dealt with all my problems it hardly seems to matter. Great customer service, very refreshing!!!”

“Sofas are fine, as advertised. I also purchased silicone gliders for the legs to help when moving them around the room. The gliders are just stuck on by the delivery crew; almost immediately one started coming off, it seemed to be the leg below where I normally sit. I contacted Barker and Stonehouse, who fitted some more; that didn't sort the issue so I contacted them again. They ordered some pre fitted silicone gliders (I'm assuming screwed to the base of the legs) which I think must be the new way they are supplied. They came... but were the wrong colour. Again following another call they have been replaced now with the right coloured legs. After a bit backwards and forwards B and S have sorted the issues out, so I have no issues with the service that they have provided. The reason for the 4 star review is; why did they not supply the newer style of legs in the first place rather than having several issues to get things sorted satisfactorily.”

“The product is excellent quality and was really well packaged. Thank you. My only complaint is that my money was taken as soon as my order was placed in early May with the promise of delivery from 15th May. After several phone calls and various promises I would be contacted ?tomorrow? the item was delivered on 9th June.”

“Great set of furniture, delivery was on time. The only disappointment was that the parasol hadn?t arrived to the warehouse , so could not be delivered and will have to come separately.”

“Ordered a set of dining chairs and a small sofa chair to be picked up from the Gateshead branch on separate occasions and both times the member of staff who brought me the goods helped to inbox the items and fit them in the car. Would have given 5 stars but for the fact that I had to get them delivered to the store as I wasn?t willing to pay the ?50 delivery charge- this is disgusting!”

“Only just noticed that I?ve got one 3 drawer bedside unit and one 2 drawer instead of 2x 3 drawers!! I can live with it though. Wish I?d gone with all ?New Frontier? range - it?s lush? the unfinished ?Tambora? stuff is actually a little too rustic for me but that?s on me. IAN + CRAIG R delivery drivers from BLAYDON were great :)”

“Fantastic product. Only disappointment was the dictated delivery day and time. Was forced to take day off work as was told 13th Nov was the only day the deliveries were being done in my area and they could not give me an alternative until they knew when there was more orders from the area. Was only able to give me all day time slot too. On the day delivery men were great and very efficient but more choice of delivery to suit me would have been appreciated.”

“Have bought 3 sofas from B&S and we love them. So far the quality hasn't change and we feel we have unique sofas. On the second purchase the sales assistance was quite slow and unclear at times. I have already recommend them to many friends and will go back for more furniture!”
