“Dealing with the store was as always, easy and very satisfactory. We then had to make our order online in order to be sure of early sale prices. We opted for collection to save delivery costs on our item that was small enough to fit a car but were mislead by the order form over the length of time we had to wait before we could collect it. Telephone conversations with the online department were confusing. Ultimately collection from the warehouse was easy and the staff there very helpful.”

“Good in-store showrooms, well supplemented with leaflets & website material to take initial ideas home with, or revisit later. Staff in store were helpful, delivery team excellent, and everything worked as expected. Prices aren't cheap, but for good quality products, they're fair. Having to wait a few weeks for one item in my order, but I was informed of this at the point of ordering, so there were no surprises. Additionally, this was split into two separate deliveries at no extra cost.”

“Good quality furniture In store customer service excellent One set of chairs delivered without the screws to build them the customer service department was rude and not helpful We went to our local store though Birstall and they couldn?t help us enough”

“Everything good with experience but for one thing I placed my order online - all good Regular texts regarding status -all good Just when I went into Leeds branch to collect my order I spent at least 10 minutes both upstairs and downstairs finding a member of staff . At least three were talking to I assume friends ( you don?t talk to customers what you have planned for the weekend) and another was talking to a sales rep. Surely the customer comes first obviously not at your Leeds branch”

“Good quality furniture. If you are looking something different from a mainstream then this furniture maker/seller is for you. The only issue was a long awaiting for a delivery since Barker and Stonehouse is based in England and the company does not have re-sellers in Glasgow/Edinburgh area.”

“Quality and stylish black leather bar stools. Only comment is the delivery charge was too high in our opinion, when spending ?198 and living only a few miles away from the store. So we collected the two bar stools.”

“We had a problem with there being marks on the lampshade but it was very quickly and professional sorted for us by being replaced. Unfortunately the new shade still had marks but they were less notable than before. Get selection of products and very reasonable prices”

“Everything went very smoothly and we're very pleased with the products and the service we received. The only downside was that we didn't receive the shelf supports for the bookcase we'd bought, but fortunately I had some spare from a pervious purchase. I'm sure B&S would have sent them to us if we'd asked, but it would have prevented us using the shelving until they'd arrived. Other than that we were happy with our purchases and would order from B&S again.”

“Product arrived on time and I ordered close to Christmas. It was well packed both inside and out as it was glass. Would recommend on the basis on responsiveness of service and quality of product”

“Very good service from start to finish. Staff at all stages kept up good communication and were friendly and professional. Chairs purchased were of high quality and also good value compared with similar at other companies. Only reason I have not given top rating was due to a long wait for delivery (but that was due to global delivery issues at time ). I will definitely use B & S again and would gladly recommend.”

“The vase i ordered was a competitive price and got delivered on time but unfortunately it was smashed to bits when I opened the box, it was refunded extremely quickly with no debate which was appreciated.”

“I am delighted with my chair. However, I was very disappointed that because I ordered the chair on-line and not in the local store I had to pay a delivery charge to my home rather than be able to collect the chair from the store as I did with the first one I ordered.”
