“Bought Batman vs Killer Croc statue. Two fins on Batmans glove are missing from statue. It's clearly been returned as the broken fins have been touched up either by it's previous owner or Barginmax. I'm gutted because it cost £82”

“If I could rate lower I could. No one should ever shop here. Purchased Disney cars as a gift for a child. They advertised the cars and packaging online yet cars they sent were in totally different packaging. Packaging that is not how official merchandise is presented for sale. One of the cars had been sent to me already opened and one had been opened then sellotaped back together. This makes me question the authenticity of the product. I will not unintentionally support the counterfeit trade. Furthermore if the packaging is not the official packaging then how can consumers trust that these have been through any (let alone adequate) safety checks. The company made no effort to address the issue that the were falsely advertising these products and that the ones I received were different. They made no effort to address my concerns at all. I sent these back so I could get my money back. The company sat about twiddling their thumbs for well over three working days after receiving the parcel back on a Sunday. They ignored my email to chase this up and it was only when I opened a PayPal case that they eventually responded. Refund had not yet been received but I will escalate as a claim if need be. Relieved I paid via PayPal. Will also be looking into contacting trading standards regarding the false advertising.”

“I would give a zero if i could. Ordered an item from them but had to return it they said that was fine. Sent it back without even opening the content. Didn't refund me. Asked them to refund me. No response. Opened a paypal complaint they sent pictures of the item broken saying it arrived damaged. Which was clearly a lie as the pictures they sent were of an item missing the base (which as the item wasn't even opened did the base magically disappear?!) Also the inner box holding the item crushed to bits but the outer box the parcel was packed in was in perfect condition when i told them they were lying and pointed these facts out got a generic "if the item arrives damaged we don't have to pay you" ignoring all my points when they clearly took pictures of an item that was not even the item i sent them. DISGUSTING. LYING. I've reported them to officials and will never use this company again. I will not stop til i receive my refund and they should be ashamed of themselves.”

“Would give them 0 stars if possible. Had an issue with delivery, basically it never arrived on the day I had paid for. The issue was more with the courier to be fair. But it was the way the matter was dealt with which annoyed me. A complete lack of customer service and care. Emails not answered for days. No apology for what had happened even though it meant my daughter never received her Xmas present. If they had chased the courier up when I first contacted them I could have still got it in time for Xmas. No compensation offered, just got a refund as parcel never made it, just got lost in the system. Never even made it a priority when business resumed on the 27th. In the past when dealing with other companies, if a mistake has been made they cannot do enough for you to rectify it. Found Bargain Max to be just plain rude! Will never order from them again.”

“Brought item as a present, waited for delivery for over a week and item never arrived. Finally got through to BarginMax after christmas, who told me the item had been damaged in transist, however could not offer another. Total lack of communication. I only found out we woukdnt recieve the item becuase i contacted bargin max. Refund issued same day”

“Ordered item over a week ago, took me to phone them to see what was happening, was told someone was getting back to me that never happened I had to phone again to be told it's out of stock but when ordering the screen said 8 in stock, poor service!”

“i ordered an item on the 14th dec for guaranteed next day delivery, this is now the 20th and still no sign of it, the tracking number i got given is invalid and all customer service say is it's dispatched and will be with you in 1-2 business days, so that was clearly £100 well spent! never ordering from here again. i am going to have a very disappointed child on christmas day when she doesn't get the only thing she asked for and no time to get it home from somewhere else.”

“My package never arrived from DPD - apparently lost in transit! No air hogs left in stock so refund given - after I contacted to ask where my order was. Fortunately Argos had stick to fulfill both Christmas presents.”
