About True Toys:

We're True Toys, an online toy shop for real families. We've been doing this for 14 years (you might know us better as BargainMax), so toys are something we genuinely know inside out.

We've just grown up a little along the way, mostly because a lot of us became parents too, and that changed how we see everything.

Delivering the true value of play

We bring together the toys families love from the big names like LEGO, Mattel and VTech to exclusive finds you won't get everywhere else, all at honest prices. But we've never believed value is only about what you spend. It's about knowing what to choose and feeling good about that choice, because behind every order is a birthday, a surprise, a milestone or a memory in the making.

“Parcel arrived in time, ordered a scooter for my daughters Christmas present the only thing she really wanted, all wrapped up opened the box Christmas Day to find no handle bars 🤷🏼‍♀️ So my daughter was devastated as her sisters scooter was fine we had to take her out and used it like a skate board bargain max asked for photos which I sent and obv it had been used and now they want me to send it back for investigation I obv haven’t kept it and got her a new one no response from customer service and the scooter is no longer stocked all I want is my money back but so far nothing it’s disgusting”

“Absolutely disappointing. I placed the order on December 12 and was told the parcel was dispatched on December 16. It's for my daughter's gift. Up until now, it's still not arrived, but money has been deducted.”

“Placed order on 10th Dec for all my daughters presents and they told me they would be here for Christmas but only 1 item arrived and don't know where the rest went. Absolutely shocking think alot of people had this happen”

“DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER, they sold me a bike that arrived on the 22nd WITH NO SEAT OR PEDDLES AND DID NOT ANSWER THE PHONE OR SORTBIYBOUT BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!! So am sat with a broken bike and my BABY HAS NOT GOT ANY BIKE FOR XMAS ANDBIT WAS THE ONLY THIBG SHE ASKED FOR!!!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE DISGUSTING ROBBING AS*****!”

“Placed an order on 6th December for one item. Was blaming evri for ‘losing’ the parcel to find it hasn’t even left Bargainmax warehouse. No response from them. Was supposed to be a Xmas present too”

“First time and last ever time buying from these lot, bought something for my niece and Not delivered whatsoever. Can't contact any1 here. People please do not use Bargain Max as to make it worse, they are using Evri courier who have failed to deliver anything. I would recommend Amazon Prime instead. Bargain Max and Evri you thieves!”

“I was nervous about how credible this website was given some of the reviews but I have been very impressed with the speed of service. Ordered present the Saturday before Xmas, expecting it to arrive after Xmas but it arrived on the Tuesday. So very happy and great price too. Thanks!”

“Very disappointed, i ordered 3 presents for 3 different children from here on the 11th of December and none of them have arrived for Christmas. Impossible to contact Bargainmax about it! Luckily i paid via 3rd party so i will be requesting a refund but i now have 3 members of my family without gifts and i cant afford to replace them. Ive ordered from here before with no issues but it seems this company cant deal with a large influx of orders at Christmas. I wont be ordering from here again.”

“I have tried contacting you several times using several different platforms/ phoning with no response. I ordered nearly two weeks ago and have had no update for a week! When looked at reason on delivery, it states 'bad weather' when there was no bad weather on that day and there has been no update since. Please can someone contact me with information about the missing order as these are Christmas presents for my 3 yr old who will stop believing in Santa if he ends up with nothing.”

“Item ordered on 9th December still not delivered. Contacted customer service to chase up only to receive an email saying its been delivered when tracking clearly still states its been delayed!! Not at all happy! Very unlikely to purchace from this company again”

“Incomplete order delivered. Tracking information is out of date. It is so difficult to find contact details. Website for customer service is poor. 10% discount for new orders keeps popping-up. Unlikely to order again if initial order is not fulfilled.”

“BargainMax dispatched my order but Evri hadn't delivered. It was hard to contact Bargainmax however when I saw where the warehouse was I went there and can honestly say they were really helpful. They sorted me with my order straight away. Would recommend”
