“To start with, Sian was a very helpful member of staff and made the process great. The design process was okay. We came to them with designs, so that helped massively BUT we had to do some reworking/adding to the designs and provided detailed briefs which I feel sometimes were not read thoroughly enough as I had to repeat a few points more than once to get them changed - no one can be perfect though can they, so it was most probably just human error! We were delayed by a few designer days off/holidays, but this wasn't usually for any longer than two days at a time (one occassion of 5 days, but this included a weekend) and again, you can't expect them to work 24/7! It was a lengthy and detailed process, so I thank them for being so patient with us! Once we had a design down, I gathered order numbers and they quoted us. I personally feel it would be better if they gave INC VAT prices as most of their business seems to go to Scouts/Girlguiding/charity organisations which work inc VAT/cannot claim VAT back, and the fact prices were EX VAT were easily missed/not that clearly highlighted causing us a bit of a problem further down the line. We put an order in, and they gave us an estimate of 4 weeks from order to delivery. This was in fact 6 weeks, which I was disappointed in as I had people relying on me. Once despatched, delivery via UPS was super quick though (went to a local collection point as I wasn't in to answer the door) and the 30 day payment time was very handy as I had to collect money from others. The badge quality (woven) was superb though, and I could not fault them in that area which is obviously one of the most important areas! The greens were a little more vibrant than on my computer, but this is most probably due to differences in display vibrancy and did not hinder the overall quality or design. Overall, watch out for inc, or ex.VAT prices, give clear instructions on design and order with a few more weeks margin you'll be very pleased with the outcome! Thanks MBC!”

“Neckers ordered were as required and of good quality. Advice was given on delivery date and this date was beaten by an earlier delivery. The total time however from order to delivery does seem long, but comparable with other companies. I will be using MBC for other orders.”

“Very happy with the service so far. They worked with me to design a badge that would work and we were happy with. They also sent samples for me to assess what backing would work best for us and were helpful replying to my emails and queries. The only small issue I had was that the 4 week manufacture and delivery time was not communicated to me at the start of the process. However, I appreciate this was not really changeable. Overall very happy with the service and with the finished product received. It looks fantastic and we are very pleased.”

“MBC can accommodate the colours of our unit neckers and we are happy to order through you. My only suggestion is that the timeframes for these to be delivered could be a bit clearer. Perhaps a pop up box when moving into the basket area to advise of an estimate date for dispatch. Thanks”

“I have ordered neckers three or four times from MBC, always had good service, good quality neckers at a fair price. As they are custom made, they do take a couple of weeks to be delivered so you have to plan ahead. Dave Gill - 1st Nailsworth & Forest Green Scouts.”

“Placed an order, which I had left rather late. Unfortunately had response of no can do, however received communication that warehouse can express my order in time for Remembrance. I was really thrilled. When they arrived we were really pleased with our neckers, they arebyellow with a brown edge for our Brownie unit. They ironed well and good quality. The girls looked lovely in them. Really pleased.”
