“Very happy with the scarfs, the colours I wanted have come out very well and they are good quality. However, I am bitterly disappointed with the delivery service. For 20 pretty basic scarfs which I ordered on 25/09/2022, they didn't arrive until 01/11/2022 I had to wait 1 month and 7 days. That's pretty poor service.”

“We always found your service to be excellent. however the last two orders have taken a very long time to despatch, with an item missing from the last order. You did send a replacement item almost immediately. Previously I would have given five stars, I honestly can't give more than 3 until there is some improvement. Sorry. In regards to how long did it take to answer the query, it was 24 to 48 hours.”

“After a long wait for our order they finally arrived after months. The neckers are fine. Used the company for many years but did not realised that the neckers were manufactured overseas.”

“The quality of the neckerchiefs was very good, however the delivery time was extremely extended. It appears that the goods are sourced from China, and they went into lockdown, I had to chase to find oiut why delivery wasn't made on time.”

Hi Kerie. Thank you for your review – it’s great to hear you are happy with the quality of the neckers. We make no secret of the fact we manufacture in China and, as you say, there was unfortunately a Covid lockdown in Shanghai that lasted for two months which affected the lead time. We did keep clients up to date as best we could once it was clear the lockdown was lasting longer than originally anticipated.

“Very slow service compared to other companies, your website says your own factory but as soon as the order was sent and paid for, you then come up with supply chain issues, this should have been made clear before an order is made!”

Hi Steven. The supply chain issues were with our neckerchiefs only and a result of a Covid lockdown in Shanghai that occurred after your order was placed and lasted for two months. We could not have foreseen this and we are aware of other companies who had similar unavoidable issues. We kept clients up to date as best we could once it was clear the lockdown was lasting longer than originally anticipated. In normal circumstances, we offer a lead time of 4 weeks which is industry standard.

“Have used this company previously and had no issues however my recent order did take 2 months to arrive (I accept Christmas was in that period). At the point of ordering, there is no estimated delivery date and the next communication is when it's about to be sent out for delivery.”

“Very pleased with the product but it must have taken around six weeks to actually receive my neckers- far longer than the three to four weeks I was told when I enquired.”

We are sorry to hear you are not happy with the colours. Unfortunately the colours can never be guaranteed to be identical between suppliers. Our main colours are based on Scouting UK official colours and we do offer a free swatch book of colours upon request - this enables you to check these against any existing materials to match as best you can prior to placing an order.

“Helpful service received at point of order. I was taking over ordering from a previous leader and i didn't have the full details but made a 'guess' when ordering online A member of the staff at MBC called me back to let me know I was not ordering the same as before, and was able to advise me so that I got the exact colour match. Great service! Delivery was significantly delayed due to Covid-19 (the scarves are actually made in China) but I was kept advised of the position. Once the order did arrive, eventually, the scarves and the colours look good.”

“While we've had very good service from MBC in the past with ordering our neckers from them, this time the neckers were made incorrectly, with navy blue being used in the main part of our necker, rather than royal blue. We discovered the error upon receipt of the neckers. However, once we pointed out the error, MBC was quick to respond and to get the neckers remade, which we much appreciate.”

“I have been very happy with my previous orders, and have not hesitated to recommend you to other guiding groups. The standard of this batch of badges was not up to the usual excellent quality, with several badges missing details and not being of sufficient standard to sell on for our charity fundraising. Admittedly this was before Christmas, so am not expecting any recompense, but in trawling through emails, spotted this feedback form and thought I'd be wrong to scroll on by. I will be looking to order badges for this year's fundraiser, so would be interested to know whether the same supplier will be used this time. It would affect my likelihood of ordering from MBC, which would not be a decision I would make lightly. Kind regards, Helen Smethurst”

“The items took ages to arrive - appreciate Chinese New Year was in this time scale but was still a long time... Neckerchiefs though are great and were very reasonably priced.”

“We ordered our neckers in January but didn’t receive them until the middle of march. Quality is ok, they are the colour we wanted with the correct border. Next time we order we will make sure it is well in advance of needing them.”

Hi Emma. We are sorry it took longer than expected to receive your order. The lead time in normal circumstances is 3-4 weeks but because of the the time of year the order was placed there were delays to your order. Over the Chinese New Year period our factory closes for up to 3 weeks. This is advised on the website and in the order acknowledgements we send out at the time.

“The order process was very quick and simple. However, the delivery service was not good from UPS as they did not bother to locate the correct address. It took three goes for the delivery of badges to arrive.”
