“Great company Greta badges mine are much bigger than expected but they are still very nice and well made ! The last set was way to small and I asked for double the size of that but got way to big! No inbeween! But they are still very well made”

Hi John. It’s great to hear you think the badges are nice and well made, but we are sorry to receive only 3 stars for this order. When the enquiry was made we double checked the required size, and this was re-confirmed with the artwork proof which clearly stated 50mm x 41mm. This is exactly double the size of your original badges (25mm x 20.5mm) which, as you say, is what you had asked for. We are able to supply the badges in any size inbetween this, we just weren't asked to do so on this occasion.

“Good product but poor service. We agreed the order in late April and you invoiced me and confirmed receipt. When I chased after 4 weeks, only then did you start the production process. It's obvious that whoever acknowledged the payment didn't start the production until I chased. I actually missed the deadline for the event I needed the badges for.”

Hi Bruce. Thank you for your review and I'm sorry you feel we provided a poor service. The payment was received on 30th April and the production process began immediately. I don't know if you are confusing our email confirming order details and advising of an expected delivery date, which was sent on 23rd May, as an indication production was beginning? This was not the case. As the lead time for woven badges is advertised as (and quoted to be) approximately 4 weeks and the badges were delivered on 31st May, we think it's harsh to say we provided a poor service on this basis. We also weren't informed about a required date for your event and, had we known about this, we would have either advised it was not possible to deliver in time or made every effort to achieve the date for you.

“Very happy with the scarfs, the colours I wanted have come out very well and they are good quality. However, I am bitterly disappointed with the delivery service. For 20 pretty basic scarfs which I ordered on 25/09/2022, they didn't arrive until 01/11/2022 I had to wait 1 month and 7 days. That's pretty poor service.”

“We always found your service to be excellent. however the last two orders have taken a very long time to despatch, with an item missing from the last order. You did send a replacement item almost immediately. Previously I would have given five stars, I honestly can't give more than 3 until there is some improvement. Sorry. In regards to how long did it take to answer the query, it was 24 to 48 hours.”

“The quality of the neckerchiefs was very good, however the delivery time was extremely extended. It appears that the goods are sourced from China, and they went into lockdown, I had to chase to find oiut why delivery wasn't made on time.”

Hi Kerie. Thank you for your review – it’s great to hear you are happy with the quality of the neckers. We make no secret of the fact we manufacture in China and, as you say, there was unfortunately a Covid lockdown in Shanghai that lasted for two months which affected the lead time. We did keep clients up to date as best we could once it was clear the lockdown was lasting longer than originally anticipated.

“Very slow service compared to other companies, your website says your own factory but as soon as the order was sent and paid for, you then come up with supply chain issues, this should have been made clear before an order is made!”

Hi Steven. The supply chain issues were with our neckerchiefs only and a result of a Covid lockdown in Shanghai that occurred after your order was placed and lasted for two months. We could not have foreseen this and we are aware of other companies who had similar unavoidable issues. We kept clients up to date as best we could once it was clear the lockdown was lasting longer than originally anticipated. In normal circumstances, we offer a lead time of 4 weeks which is industry standard.

“Have used this company previously and had no issues however my recent order did take 2 months to arrive (I accept Christmas was in that period). At the point of ordering, there is no estimated delivery date and the next communication is when it's about to be sent out for delivery.”

We are sorry to hear you are not happy with the colours. Unfortunately the colours can never be guaranteed to be identical between suppliers. Our main colours are based on Scouting UK official colours and we do offer a free swatch book of colours upon request - this enables you to check these against any existing materials to match as best you can prior to placing an order.

“Helpful service received at point of order. I was taking over ordering from a previous leader and i didn't have the full details but made a 'guess' when ordering online A member of the staff at MBC called me back to let me know I was not ordering the same as before, and was able to advise me so that I got the exact colour match. Great service! Delivery was significantly delayed due to Covid-19 (the scarves are actually made in China) but I was kept advised of the position. Once the order did arrive, eventually, the scarves and the colours look good.”

“While we've had very good service from MBC in the past with ordering our neckers from them, this time the neckers were made incorrectly, with navy blue being used in the main part of our necker, rather than royal blue. We discovered the error upon receipt of the neckers. However, once we pointed out the error, MBC was quick to respond and to get the neckers remade, which we much appreciate.”
