“Very happy with the final result. Not so happy beforehand...... 1) Installation date quoted by Jack Houston was 4-5 weeks i.e. end August or beginning Sept. Extended 3 times to October 22nd. You won't have happy customers if you over-promise & under-deliver. 2) We were asked to take delivery of the equipment a fortnight before & reluctantly agreed, but had to cancel after second thoughts due to lack of space. It arrived on installation day. Just as well, as we would never have been able to store it beforehand. Installer Alex was brilliant, solving numerous problems & leaving everything immaculate. Even having to come back the next day to solve an air lock. Full marks. He had to install a waste pump, which is noisy, but unavoidable. Have showered twice & found it easy to use.”

“Unfortunately, being 'old school', I ignore most requests for reviews in a day and age where such requests/reminders are received almost daily. Telephone calls and /or visits used be normal routine in seeking Customer satisfaction levels pre millenium. On this occasion I am happy to submit a feedback review in view of the importance to us of the order. There were certain areas where I am pleased to give you five stars. The fitter's work was excellent and gave him 5 stars before he left (would say it is not for the fitter to ask this question before the walk in shower had been used). The delivery team arrived shortly after the fitter. Here there was an irritant. As expected we were due to pay the second instalment. Unfortunately the delivery representative's pin machine would not pass my payment. When he noticed that my credit card expired he insisted that was 1st October so my card had expired and advised that work could not commenced until I had settled. I explained that it expired 31st October as confirmed by Barclays Bank later that morning, indeed, I have been using it to date.....and your fitter's machine worked the following day when I paid the final balance. I had to 'break' in to a saving's account to ensure there was no delay in getting work underway. To avoid this kind of experience in the future with and customer it would probably be best for the Company to handle all payments. The unit/fitting was pricey. Your Sales/Surveyor (Fiona) was aware of our feeling on this. By way of background, there had been concern over my wife's mobily issues consequently there was some urgency in getting a walk in shower installed. Under other circumstances I would have arranged for an alternative quotation, but, we took in to account recommendations for Aquability. Fiona did indicate that your prices were due to increase substantially within a few weeks. Since installation the walk in shower has worked fine and naturally we are pleased with that. However, and this is why, in part, we have awarded 4 instead of 5 stars, although the appearance in our bathroom looks good, we were a little disappointed with one of the design features namely the internal dimension falling shorter from the wall that expected (12 inches).We had thought from your surveyor's description it would be half that. Unfortunate, apart from the window dimensions there were no other dimensions shown on the copy survey report apart from the actual width of the bathroom. The dimensions of the unit are not shown in the brochure. In conclusion, I am pleased to confirm that the old bath and other bits and pieces were removed from our property before the fitter had completed. I hope you will find the above as constructive feedback.”
