We had a unit installed for my husband it was done quickly and thought no more about it , until after my husband’s death I decided to restore my bathroom back to a normal shower , the unite was removed and my fitter found that the aqua bility fitter had hacked out the floor cut through joists etc and the unit was installed dangerously I did speak to the customer service manager basically said what do want it was done so what do you want from us I said to make people aware that it was installed dangerously I have those pictures if anyone wants to see them !they offered nothing and I didn’t ask for compensation just for them to be aware of how some of the units are being installed !!!

Dear Mrs Simmons We were terribly sorry to hear that your husband has passed and offer our condolences for your sad loss. We were also very sorry to hear that, upon removing our shower module, it became apparent that a joist beneath the tray had been cut to accommodate a waste fitting. We absolutely understand what a shock this must have been for you and sincerely thank you for bringing the matter to our urgent attention. From our records, I can see that my colleague spoke to you on Friday and informed you of the reasons why we believe it is highly unlikely to have been our installer who cut the joist. Briefly, these are not our usual fittings; no charge was made for any additional work and it is apparent from the photographs that alterations to the waste had been carried out in the bathroom prior to our installation. I have sent you an email setting out these reasons in more detail for your information. However, this does not mean that the matter is now closed. We are still investigating with our fitter. I would also like to take this opportunity to reassure you that due to the type of joist and the span of the tray neither you or your late husband were in any danger, though we do agree it would have been better practice to consult with you and pause the works to carry out a full assessment and/or repair ahead of the installation of the shower module. I hope this information alleviates some of your concerns and look forward to speaking with you once we have completed our investigation. The installation appeared to go fine but issues soon became apparent. We've been trying for months to get things fixed and it is apparent that contrary to their website promises Aquability have no concept of customer service after they've got your money. Too many false promises on the phone and in writing. We've resorted to putting everything in writing as we were on hold on the phone for over 40 minutes too many times. (Which they said should never have happened)

After sales service is one of the worst we have ever Experienced Have a bad leak which aquability Say is nothing to do with them Very convenient when all money is paid

We are very sorry you are experiencing a leak at your property and we understand that this must be a stressful time for you. As you are aware, we attended your property within 24 hours of you notifying us of the issue but found the leak to be in another part of your property on pipework unrelated to our installation. Naturally, had we found the leak to be related in any way to the work we had carried out previously this would have been resolved at our cost. For this reason, regrettably, we have been unable to help you further with this unfortunate situation and have suggested that you contact your buildings insurance for further support. The sink and shower door were fitted to close together so I cannot get into the shower a new door was ordered which is supposed to arrive next week but no sign of fitting also we asked for a mixer tap on the sink and two taps were fitted it is now four weeks and we haven't a clue what's happening!We are in our 70s and not in good health please respond to this

I had my walk in shower installed in mid February and it leaked from day one. The fitter came out put some sealant round the door frame and said it was recommended to pull the shower curtain right over the door to stop the leak,the salesman never mentioned any of this. The fitter has been out again today to fix another leak and told me I will always get a small leak around the door on this model of shower. Surely when I pay the amount of money I have for this shower I should not have to pull a plastic shower curtain round to keep the water in,I definitely would not have bought this product if I'd been told this by the salesman. I definitely would not recommend this product as I don't consider it fit for purpose. Mr A Dean.

Hi Mr Dean I'm really sorry to hear this. The shower certainly shouldn't require the curtain unless you have a half-height door and are spraying over the top of it.
