“Received items, paid the extra £2.00 for raster delivery but that didn't happen so won't do that again. Boxes were crushed. No longer get invoice in box like used to that was a handy thing to check of products. Not sure if will buy again, been a while since shopped there but doesn't seem the same and as exciting as used to be. I do like the mystery box, that is exciting to receive. Sorry for this isn't the best review.”

We ask if you ever run into issues with your order like this, that you just drop us an email at cs@approvedfood.co.uk as we are always happy to help! Just to clear up any confusion. The extra delivery cost you paid was to push your order to top of our pick queue. I can see your order was placed at 11:05am and packed at 11:48am. This will have been sent out that same day but the couriers we use only deliver Monday to Friday. So, since this was dispatched on a Friday this wasn't delivered till the following Monday. In terms of checking your order, we have now gone paperless so you should be able to review all orders under the "My Orders" page when logged into your account. I hope this helps! Alternatively, if you drop us a message, we are able to email your order invoice if you needed. Any issues you had in this order due to the boxes being damaged, please feel free to get in touch and let us know! We can always sort something for you! “Ordered a surprise box for £1 - very disappointed with the quality of the items - all totally out of date 2021 - foul tasting Coke Max and Peach Tea - the same with out of date and stale crisps. I promised my husband, son and daughter that I would never be tempted to order a surprise box again! I had simply paid to dispose of someone elses waste. Other items in date were fine and reasonably priced.”

I can see from your invoice that the Lucky Box you purchased was our 2021 dated box, (which explains the dates on the items). “Have bought many amazing things off of Approved Food, not just food though, just bought Christmas present bath bomb packs for friends. The food is good quality, there are many interesting new foods and drinks that I would never get to try otherwise - in some cases I couldn't afford them at normal price - and the prices are amazing! :D Example; I bought a pack of seven Rocky bars for a penny - you can only get five packs now and they go for between a pound and one fifty. Have given samples out to friends (including the bloke who delivers the boxes and the postie) and highly recommend them to all. And on the very very rare occasion that there is something not right or missing (three times out of hundreds for me - over a lot of years), they get back to you straight away and sort it out. :) Unless you are fussy about sell/use by dates you are onto a winner! :D”

“the goceris section often has far to few items in it to fill a basket and complete an order (either that or the website is not displaying the goods) often as little as 20 items accessable on screen ALSO PLEASE SEPERATE FOOD AND COSMETICS”

“Majority of food ordered is still OK to eat but some best before items have to go straight in the bin. When ordering items that show in stock are sometimes refunded to your online account as Approved Food state no stock is available. Would be better to credit back to the payment card used. Can be frustrating.”

“Items were missing from my order I’ve contacted customer services and got no reply or refund. Wasn’t even told the item wasn’t available anymore but was still charged. I’ve used this company a few times with no problems will not be using them again”

Hi Gemma, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I'm really sorry for any confusion caused by this issue. We did respond to your email on Tuesday morning but it could be that our reply has slipped into your spam folder since we never heard anything back from you. I can confirm the item missing from your order was credited back to your account (and you should have received an email to confirm this) after being marked as out of stock. The items are automatically credited rather than refunded, as we don't have the facility to issue an automatic refund due to not storing any financial information. We do however have the facility to manually refund* the credit back to the payment instead on request if you would prefer this. A member of our customer service team will process this for you and get in touch to let you know this has been done. If you don't see that email, you may need to check your spam folder. “Shsh, don’t tell anyone as I really don’t want to do this review, I want Approved Food to be a secret. It is the best place to save a huge amount of money. The site is easy to use. There is something different every day. Who doesn’t love a bargain, well this is where you get them. The delivery is quick at a very reasonable price. I have saved on food, drink and most importantly money and time.”
