“Everything arrived safely and as promised. Spend over £55 and delivery is free. The delivery company let's you know when it is arriving and you can track whether they are.”

“Always a pleasure to save food going to waste. Have used Approved Food several times when I need a stock up. On this occasion as a housewarming present for my son. He was very happy at having a fully stocked cupboard of food having spent a fortune on deposit for rented flat.”

“Food no issues at all . However this delivery has left me wondering whether to come again . My delivery was classed as delivered but I was home and no one came to my door to try and attempt to deliver my parcel. I received email saying delivered and then I had to go try locate the parcel. My parcel was,also opened as the pharmacy where parcel was placed couldn't find my name ... but my delivery address was on it so why they opened it I don't know. Then I had to carry. My parcel for a mile on my to get it home . Then I felt like absolutely knackered when I finally got home carrying my parcel which was prob about 15kg give or take . Luckily I never had my dog with me which would have been even worse f9r me . Always been delivered to my door before with photo taken in my house to say its been delivered. But not this time and no reason for it when my home is only a mike away from the place where my parcel was dumped .”

“4 days from order to delivery, then received mouldy Soreen loaves. They did respond quickly and refunded the cost of the loaves, but won't buy from here again”

“Placed an order. Had to chase as order not received. Customer service got back to me to advise parcel had been damaged in transit. Was unable to reorder items as they were now no longer in stock. Advised they will refund money to my account. Have requested it be refunded to my credit card. Hopefully his will be actioned quickly.”

“Not happy with the delivery as 2 cans of Coke Cola were deflated and put in the bin, the chocolate peanuts were open and scattered over the bag and the card box was soaking !!”

“I've had a few boxes from Approved Food and have been very happy with the quality of everything I have received. Some of the foodstuffs are not actually out of date! When ordering, you can hover over the Item and see the Use By date. All items, including glass jars and bottles, are well packaged and everything has arrived undamaged.”

“The dates are a little bit soon on some things but on the whole a good experience. I managed to get a box of goods for £25 with delivery which was worth £75. So very good value as long as you eat things in time.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! I'm really to sorry to hear your disappointment with your recent order. I can see the reason for the missing items in your order was due to them being out of stock at the time of picking this. When an order is placed the items paid for are reserved for that order, with stock levels being altered accordingly on the website meaning that the stock is accurate. However, sometimes we may need to remove items from sale due to a number of different reasons, and if this is the case then any outstanding which include removed items will be affected, with the account being credited accordingly. The items are automatically credited rather than refunded, as we don't have the facility to issue an automatic refund due to not storing any financial information. But we are able to manually refund the credit back to the payment method on request of the customer. We can only apologise again for any disappointment caused by this.
