“Have used Approved Food quite a few times and have always been really pleased . The most recent order, however, only half the order came. I emailed to state this and was told the second box was still in the van and would be delivered within two days. It didn't arrive, so I emailed again, to be told the box had become damaged so couldn't be delivered. I was asked which items were missing (34 items), so have left them know, and hope I will receive these soon. This has never happened before so I will continue to use Approved Food.”

“Good quality products and quick delivery. Pound bargain box was brilliant. Only reason not 5 stRs is though the 4 bottles of Stella were individually bubble wrapped one had broken, so box was a mess (fortunately no damage to other products) but had to be very careful with broken glass.”

“Mostly very good all round! You have to check items and prices, as some are more expensive than supermarkets and also have a short or expired date. Some good bargains to be had, especially in the bulk buying items. Packaging has improved significantly over time, but communications are an area they need to resolve.”

“My recent parcel arrived in good time, and when the courier company said that it would. All items ordered were included, and there were only a couple of problems - a body wash bottle's lid had come unscrewed and the contents leaked out (fortunately it was in a sealed bag and didn't damage anything else) which was a shame as I'd got it for a present, and the hand wash had some sort of code scrawled on the bottle in indelible pen (but I did manage to scrub it off)”

“Ordered arrived in good time and all correct but the packaging could be a bit better. Both boxes only had one bit of weak tape each sealing them on top (which it failed to do on one of the boxes) and none on the bottom, bothwere collapsing from the weight of the items. One of the boxes had completely split and some items had fallen out in the back of the delivery van. Luckily managed to account for all of my order and every thing was there. Need to tape up the boxes better otherwise order could get damaged.”

“I am pleased with your service, easy to navigate your website, postage costs are reasonable and quick delivery. The only criticism is that some of the 'out of date' or 'nearing out of date foods' are still mostly the same price as the supermarket.”

“I had a problem with my deliverly in that I the packaging was damaged for some items. On contact with customer services the issue was resolved with absolutely no quibble. Itemms were collected from my door and a refund processed to my original payment method. Found Bekah from customer services extremely pleasant and helpful.”

“The website is a little confusing. Many of the products are in multiple categories. It takes a lot of time to browse and select items. That said, their communication (email) and delivery schedules are excellent. The savings are varied. Better to watch weight limits to get the most from the delivery charges, otherwise, any savings made goes in postage.”

“Would have gave 5 stars but I found it odd that a box of heavy glass bottles was placed on top of a box containing crisps? Just a little odd to me as it’s not how I would have packed the box.”
