“I love going on the site and I have purchased lots of wonderful things at brilliant prices but the one irritating thing is the cost of delivery and the length of time it can take to receive your parcel! DX are not in my opinion the best carrier to use.”

“Great products at exceptionally discounted prices the delivery was impeccable cant fault it as everything was packed with great care but would like to see ingredients clearly on products rather than emailing to find out”

“Very impressed with the 2 day delivery scheduled but very disappointed with DX Express delivery service. They said I was not in and I definitely was and had to wait a further 3 days. Also I left instructions to leave in the greenhouse if by any chance I had to go out which I did not.”

“Very good deals and service from Approved Food as usual but very disappointed with delivery this time. Delivery was due Monday but never arrived, I didn't take too much notice as with covid things have been delayed although I didn't hear any more about my delivery. When I checked the tracking on the delivery it was saying it had been delivered and left with Steve on Monday. I knew this wasn't true as Steve was away with work on Monday. I checked with both neighbours, neither had my parcel. I randomly went and checked by my bins and there was my very wet parcel that had been outside in the pouring rain all day Tuesday. Not even a card put through my door. Why didn't my tracking say it had been put by the bins? At least then I'd it wouldn't have sat outside for 2 days and wouldn't be soaking wet. Luckily it was just the box that was ruined and all the food inside was fine. Nothing to do with Approved Food I know but think you should be aware of the service your getting for your money.”

“Excellent service, the products are well packaged to prevent breakages of glass jars etc. The food is always really good, the prices are fab. The only complaint is that the fizzy drinks are pretty much flat which is just an issue of age. In that instance the BBE date is probably a good one to stick to. None of the products otherwise have been problematic and all taste perfectly good. I will continue to use this service, as I highly rate and recommend it.”

“I have contacted the company, but not yet had a response. Inc in my order was starbucks coffee, this had a best buy date of 05/02/21 but sadly its undrinkable. I also purchased Celebration chocolates , use by date 15/11/2020. Some of them have a white coating on so I'm a bit unsure to use them. Waiting for a response Now responded and received a credit”

“The confectionary received was fine and my only gripe was that the Cadbury creme eggs were placed in the same box as the Kinder Bueno and unsurprisingly the Kinder fingers were damaged to varying degrees. It doesn't take the Brain of Britain to realise that, unless restrained, the heavy-weight creme eggs will act in this manner.”

“Very happy with my order. A couple of cans were dented, which I don't know is part of the deal, but otherwise this was great. The box was impressively well packed; I could learn from the packer who to pack my suitcase!”

“Would have been 5 stars had I not been messed around by the DX delivery .I was advised order was out on delivery on Thursday and then in the evening it was back in depot ! Same thing on Friday . Eventually delivered on Monday. The order was well packed and I will order again as I it was great value for money. The ordering process was easy and sent out promptly by yourselves.”

“Always changing selection and with a great purpose of saving food. Frustrating that the shop doesn't real-time updating, meaning the 'wow 1p' deals do sometimes end up being refunded, so don't do a shop just for them.”
