“This was my second order from approved foods and hoped that the 1st one was a one off because there were multiple items which were past their best before date but upon opening were stale so had to be thrown. In this order I had to throw most of it because most of the bigger packs of crisps (I've forgotten the brand name but one was sweet chilli) were past their best before by a short amount but were so soft and stale they immediately went in the bin. On the other hand I had some keto bars which were 4 years past their bb and they were fine. I was hoping to have a good experience and help to reduce food waste because you can eat many foods past their best before date but I don't know if it has something to do with the way the products are stored but very few items in this last order were edible. I won't be wasting my money again.”

“I have been a customer of approved food for a few years now and haven't been disappointed. However the company need to try and source more everyday store cupboard items to help the financial crisis hit customers instead of all chocolate,crisps and fizzy drinks deals. Please think about the normal food everyone wants.”
