The worst courier company I have ever dealt with. They collected a 30kg item on reference 1976 from the collection address but when it was received at their depot in Stevenage they refused to load it onto the delivery van because it was too heavy. However they were prepared to either load it back onto van to return it to the sender or help us load onto our van if we collected. Disgraceful and rude service provided by Jamie at Stevenage. Also said they would still invoice the sender. Unfotunately I am unable to give 0 stars

Really disappointed every time you are used. You cannot let customers know at 6.30am that you will deliver and then deliver at 8am on the same day!!!! You dont give enough notice at all to arrange time to be at home. There is NO ALTERNATIVE COLLECTION apart from Nottingham City centre (which is over 45 minute drive away, are you crazy??? are you not supposed to be delivering to me????) . Your customer service line is an answerfone, this says it all. POOR VERY POOR INDEED

Harlow branch AVOID AVOID AVOID I send over 200 parcels out of the this depot. I have lots ££££ in business due to, bad service, deliveries not turning up, no cards being left and bad communication. I will be going back to Royal Mail for my service in the future.

Not once has APC successfully delivered a parcel to me. I’ve always had to go and find it myself. So sick and tired of companies that use APC as their chosen delivery service, I will now be boycotting any company using them.

I've got a text message saying the time of the delivery but I was not at home.No card left in my letter box but on a website it said otherwise-closed/carded and a different date.Such a bad experience and really bad service as I don't know where my parcel is at the moment.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. I posted an item through post and package store on bellegrove road welling da16, item was 2.2kg and would have cost £7.20 via royal mail 2nd class delivery. Elizabeth Kim shop guaranteed that APC was a much better service than royal mail and that my parcel would he received by recipient on following day, 3 days later still no parcel. Trying to call APC is a joke, staff extremely unprofessional, told no dept to make complaints to, told not a guaranteed service so will not refund delivery, find out today parcel was sent to wrong delivery depot and now being sent to correct depot and be delivered by 4pm, guess what, on day 4 day 4pm still no parcel. APC refusing to acknowledge that they have failed to deliver this item in a reasonable time frame and refusing to reimburse delivery cost. I have spent a total of 4.5hrs on phone calls and 1.5hrs writing emails and filling online forms all to no avail. Please do not get caught out by this company. For APC whom I sure will respond, consignment number is 0000171, seeking as you only seem to reply to customers once they complaint on these online forums. Shame, such a bad experience.

Arranged time for delivery and as so many other reviews but in my case left card 35 mins before booked time. Not bothering rearranging delivery just cancelled order with supplier explaining why, they were not happy. If everyone did this then maybe suppliers would put pressure on delivery companies to tighten up procedures.

Absolutely horrendous experience, payed for next day delivery it is now 2 full days later and still no delivery, no phone call, haven't rung my buzzer, no card left nothing. I can safely say I will never, ever, purchase anything from anywhere that uses APC Overnight delivery ever again. I have now lost all trust in them being able to perform their most basic claimed professional duty..deliver a package on time on the date that is specified. Businesses beware, do not let this company stain your reputation. DO NOT USE THEM.

Atempted delivery on 15th, I arranged redelivery on the same day and chosen 16th. On 16th no one with parcel On 17th no one with parcel On 18th (today) 11:52am no parcel. If I wouldn't order envelopes on amazon I would be really done, that would mean I would gather over 100 orders over week and wouldn't be able to send it, that could easly break my ebay account. Very poor service in an age when parcel companies can not afford to be so u helpful. Parcel number 998 from Northampton depot. We receive parcels daily and have arrangements with all companies to deliver to ‘safe place’. We have ring doorbell and records of parcel deliveries so never a problem until APC. Driver said to doorbell, it needs a signature, I asked him to sign or accept a texted signature. He said he could not do that and would not leave it. The nearest APC pick up point is 30 miles away and there is no way we can collect today. Very poor service and I will ask anyone we buy from if they use APC. if so we will not buy from them.

We regret we are unable to leave parcels without a signature unless we have permission to do this from the sender of the parcel. As the sender is APC’s customer, we are bound to comply with their requirements, and to leave a parcel without a signature without their permission would leave APC liable for the goods should they be lost or stolen before you retrieve them. I had a delivery and was notified that it would be delivered between 14.01 and 16.01. I waited from 13.00 and it wasnt delivered. When I called the depot ,they had the audacity to say that they came and maybe the buzzer wasnt working. Unprofessional and rude! I was supposed to be working and had booked an appointment to use the spares the next day. I now have to drive 20miles (my own fuel and extra time) as I dont trust APC. This isnt the first time they have done this! Unreliable!

Was waiting for my delivery today. Driver came and called me saying that my door buzz is not working and asking if I can come down to collect the item. I said that I am at home alone with my kids and can't leave them. I said that there is another entrance on the other side of the block where door buzz is working (I have successfully received my 2 other deliveries that day). He just dropped the phone and never showed up and not responded to my other calls. After 5 mins my husband came home, he called the driver from his phone (just to make sure that the driver will pick up call from different phone number), the driver answered and my husband said that he have to come back with delivery. And the driver just said: "fuck off"! I called your company customer service straight away, but the person from customer service said that he can not reach the driver as well and left him few voice messages. While talking to your customer service driver called my husband and said he is coming back (saying again words like "fuck"..etc) like he wanted to scare him, saying that he will wait downstairs. My husband went out but the driver did not show (what a surprise!). Soon after this I have received confirmation email saying that I was not at home so the driver left the card. We are shocked! Just no words!

Contacted APC after the date range that Amazon gave for delivery had passed to find out where my package was and was informed that they'd tried to deliver it twice. Since there was no notification of these delivery attempts - no card through the door, email, nothing - there was no way I could have done anything about arranging a redelivery before the date I contacted them. Was informed that they only make two attempts at delivery and I'd need to contact the sender to authorise a redelivery. While trying to organise this, I got another email saying that since they'd had the parcel for over 7 days they'd returned it to the sender. At this point I gave up and told the sender to treat this as a return and refund me through Amazon. They'll need to get rid of APC and replace them with someone vaguely competent before I'll buy from them again. This is a shame, but I absolutely refuse to deal with any more of APC's utter uselessness.

So extremely unhelpful. They left a calling card without attempting to get access through reception- somebody on reception at all times and they said that nobody from APC rang the buzzer. The calling card was left at the gate and with a consignment number that did not work. When I finally got hold of someone over the phone the woman could not have cared any less and said that the item had been returned to sender and when I raised that I had spent £14 on a delivery that had not happened she essentially said that it wasn't their problem. When I explained that no number had been left and that the consignment number had not worked, she informed me that I needed to add 000 in front of the digits left- how on earth would someone know this? Why not just write the correct number?

UPDATE TO MY EARLIER REVIEW - THINGS GET WORSE AND CUSTOMER SERVICES SIMPLY DO NOT HELP, TAKE TWO DAYS TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE, AND THE RESPONSE IS: COMPUTER SAYS NO - YOUR PARCEL HAS BEEN RETURNED TO THE SENDER!!!! IGNORE THE 'SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE' email from Leanne - it's generic, might as well have been written by a robot (maybe it has). By the time she's 'investigated', the parcel has disappeared back to wherever it came from (anyone's guess). CAN YOU BELIEVE IT: I finally discover after nearly 10 emails, several phone calls and a quite serious amount of rage at this absolutely USELESS company, that my parcel has been returned to the sender! Even though I contacted APC within one day of receiving a missed delivery card and even though APC's website says: Goods may be returned to the sender after 3 days if no response has been received to the ‘Sorry we missed you’ calling card that was posted or the ‘Sorry we missed you’ email sent. ABSOLUTELY HOPELESS - AVOID USING APC AT ALL COSTS: IF YOU ARE A BUSINESS OWNER, YOU DO NOT HAVE TIME TO DEAL WITH THIS LEVEL OF COMPLETE INADEQUACY AND INEPT STAFF WHO EITHER TREAT YOU LIKE AN IDIOT OR HAVE NO AWARENESS OF CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER. I didn't even receive an apology for the failure of this company to deliver a parcel to me, or for their inability to attempt redelivery even once, or for the wasted time trying to deal with this quite simple operation - APC make Royal Mail look like superstars!

What an appalling company!! I would give NO STARS if possible. I have never experienced such appalling customer service from a delivery company before, and have been left feeling very upset after speaking to an incredibly rude and patronising man called Karl at your Newhaven depot, and his manager Shaun or Steve - his name kept changing – both of whom refused to provide their surnames and both of whom hung up the phone on me twice. All they would say is 'we came to deliver your parcel three times so won't deliver again', which is wrong – I've received only one card through the door after which I arranged redelivery for Tuesday 8th. Then I waited at home for a whole day on Tuesday 8th but no delivery came - nobody rang or knocked at the door and no card was posted. So that was a complete waste of time – and I am - like most people - a very busy person who doesn't have time to waste sitting around for a non-existent delivery. I didn't receive an email or text or call to let me know what time the delivery would be made, by whom, or to let me know that the delivery driver was waiting on the doorstep. To be patronised, shouted down and spoken down to by so-called customers services at your Newhaven depot, including a manager, and to have the phone put down after it rang for over 5 mins in the first place is not only harmful to your business, APC, but suggests that you need to invest significantly more time and money in finding better staff as the staff you do have should not be representing you - they're not an asset to your company - take a look at the bad reviews you are receiving and take action! I WOULD NEVER CHOOSE THIS COMPANY TO SEND MY POST.

Parcel delivery cancelled the day before due delivery date. The delivery date had been booked for weeks. I tried to arrange me to collect it from Aberdeen as it contained vital disability electrical equipment my son needed but good luck trying to get anyone to answer. Parcel was worth nearly £2000 and supposed to be signed for but was left outside my house in the pouring rain. If my neighbours hadn't seen him leave it and went and took it inside for me who knows what would have happene. Disgraceful service and company.

Parcel not delivered on the day specified on your email, day off work taken at cost to me for no reason, now want to deliver on another day so another day off needed, best bit is I have received an email saying the driver tried to deliver at 16:15 and no one was in when I was sat looking out of my window at that time, says card was left when nothing was , driver never even drove past the house. Not the first time this has happened with your company !!!!!
