Don't let the good customer service and false promises fool you. Part lost of a wardrobe and damage to other items by removal team that arrived on the day. Random white van, English not first language and basically rude removal men. Surprised not more.damage to be fair. AnyVan do not compensate for loss of items and damage because I had no receipts or photos of the furniture. Who keeps receipts after a fee.months of purchase anyway. Also, who takes pictures with damage and loss being predicted. Very disappointing AnyVan. Should have taken notice of the ONE STAR reviews others leave. Would never recommend. Shoddy and false

ABSOLUTE CON ARTISTS!!! Avoid at all costs!! My sister lives alone in Edinburgh and was looking to move after a relationship turned bad! She booked with this joke of a company, costing £170. They turned up, claimed they couldn’t park (despite there being plenty of parking) and drove off. After having dismantled all the furniture in her flat for days, she was obviously very upset! When calling the company to get answers they have been nothing but rude and unkind and have flat out refused to refund her the money, despite not providing a service!!! To top it off, they then told her that for an additional £89, they would book her in again for the next day!!!! The absolute cheek of it!! Avoid at all costs - the WORST COMPANY I HAVE DEALT WITH!!!!

I've worked in the removals industry for 20 years and please don't use this company they are a seller you buy a removal and they sell it on for the cheapest price possible use a reputable removal company pay the extra you get insurance that pays you get proper workmanship and you don't get ripped off

I am a far from happy customer. Having lost my mother I had a few pieces of furniture moved from her care home to mine and planned to use the van to then dispose of a few items of furniture to the dump. I paid for this, to then find someone had used my garage (in a block) to dump lots of other furniture on top. So it was impossible to remove the sofas. I told them about this before the collection. The rest was fine, but I have had to spend the last 2 weeks constantly chasing to find out today, that they will not give a refund, despite not doing the whole job. Why I have had to waste literally hours on the phone for nothing! They could have told me this much earlier and I would have cancelled the job outright. At a time when I am mourning my mother I shouldn't have to have such poor customer service. 2 people promised to phone me back and nether did. They don't care as long as they have their money!

Made a booking online with the requested pick up time on 10-5, the confirmation came through 8-6 which was clearly a system error on their part. Driver allocated could not do a 10am pick up and AnyVan customer service not willing to reallocate a new driver without a 50% reschedule charge unless I can “prove” they made a error.

Ours was a complicated move, involving taking our things to storage, where they remained for three months, and then moving them into our new house. The men who did the first move were unprofessional, loud and careless, and somewhat intimidating, but there was no choice but to use them, since we had to move quickly. Three months later, careful removal people brought a set of damaged, sometimes destroyed items to our new house. The TV was smashed, my Ercol furniture, mahogany chests and rosewood display case were chipped and gouged, and the display case had a broken foot. Mattresses seemed to have been dragged, with damage to corners. There were items with trim broken off. Our fridge had a broken foot and scratches to both sides. Everything was ruined. Anyvan's response was to offer £400 in compensation, telling us that it was not clear that the removers had damaged the items, even though the gouges did appear fresh, and referring us to their insurance cover, which was a maximum of £100 per item. I paid in excess of £5000 to Anyvan and am left with damaged and sometimes unusable items. I would advise you use someone else. Anyone else.

Utterly disgusting robbery. The misleading website led me to believe I would have use of the van from 0800-1800h. After you pay, they then reveal the van will turn up at some point between 0800 and 1800h. There wasn't a specified category for my items but I requested two boxes to place my items in. The driver rang me en route and when I inquired about space, he described the size if the van, assured me he had plenty of room and that he would arrive in 1-1 1/2 hours. After sitting waiting in the cold for six hours, the shady-looking driver turned up in a battered old DHL van and declared that his van was full and he couldn't take my items. Customer service (Yusef) was utterly useless and stated that I was not entitled to a refund. Not even a partial refund. He kept me on hold and failed to summon his superior. So I've essentially had my day wasted and been robbed for the privilege. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Awful, actively rude and distressing, also will fleece you and rob you blind when 'compensating' broken items... nearly a year later. Not professional, will smash your most priceless, precious pieces during any move, then ask YOU to do all the admin for any claim, and stamp all over that quote, offering you an ARBITRARY pittance as a "gesture" and ignoring any statutory rights we have. Just insulting, and very disappointing. Go local for far better and more competent, professional service which won't drag out for months - you have better things to do with your time and stress when moving house! [By the way they left my elderly mother, who was poorly at the time, to clean up 39600 square cm of shattered glass while I was at the new property.]

Made a booking approx 12-14 days in advance. Spoke to an agent day before move who said I could change the itinerary up to 9pm that night but not possible to do online and was cut off from their number after 45 mins… On the day, the driver broke down (apparently) so a new van was sent 4 hours later, and boy, did it all go to hell from then on. They started literally throwing our boxes around, with several being dropped and broken, then they smashed a door onto our cats head, and laughed when I pulled them up on it. At the drop off address they dumped everything in 1 of the downstairs rooms, until I again had to tell them to take bedroom furniture upstairs (they left it all in the kitchen still aside from 2 chest of drawers) and then, when I had dragged the appliances through the house to correct rooms and installed them, we found the washing machine smashed up. Then a big work desk was in pieces too. Claim made to CS, who after almost an entire month then declined it because we didn’t take photographs of the broken goods before the move. Shambles from all accounts here, and I’m hoping I have some recourse from the credit card company as we now have to replace best part of £700 of goods.

The worse ever experience that I had so far. I always do moves with other companies and never had a bad experience . Any van are Very unprofessional and rude. A complete scam. They initially gave me lower quote then charged me more and finally did not pick my stuff . I had been in a lot of trouble and had to arrange someone in emergency and paid them. Now I have asked for my refund and they are not giving refund either.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS CAUSE IT WILL COST YOU! Book movers 8am-6pm so assume you would have them for that time frame to only be told that’s the time slot they can arrive in. Completely unprofessional movers arrive in an unmarked van, wouldn’t take all my belongings because apparently you have to list everything down to the teaspoon! Cheek to charge an extra £88 for a 2 second walk to the car park. To top it all off they are completely unprofessional and careless when it comes to your belongings. 2 oak double wardrobes completely damaged beyond repair and tv smashed to pieces even though we took the care to bubble wrap it an ensure it was safe. Getting to the destination they have no regard for your belongings and just strive to get them out the van quick enough to go to their next job! Over £2000 worth of belongings destroyed in a matter of hours and they will not take any responsibility for the damage they have caused! Also had the cheek to tape over the damage to my wardrobes so I wouldn’t see until it was taken off. Friends witnessed them throwing my belongings into the van. Not to mention if you have any white furniture wrap it up because it will come out the van filthy. No responsibility taken by the company what so ever as we did not have pictures of our belongings before the damage took place, which In my opinion says it all if you have to take your own pictures of belongings before they are put in the hands of a moving company! Would never use again! Unless you want to be over £2000 out of pocket do not use this shambolic company!

Anyvan are an incredibly manipulative company and lack any sense of responsibility for the behaviour of their drivers. I had a house move paid for, the drivers show up and demand that I tip them directly because the schedule of items is different from what was on their manifest despite me a) having changed it with anyvan and b) the amount I'm paying staying the same because the overall amount of items is the same (I took boxes myself, had a bookshelf they needed to take instead). They refuse to take a wardrobe that was booked on without me paying a tip, so I hand over £80 in cash for them to do the work(about 15%). They leave this wardrobe to the end and subsequently I have to destroy it so I can remove it from the property as the new buyers move in that afternoon. The drivers wouldn't give the tip back. I raised this with Anyvan on three occasions and each time their call centre said they'd look into it but they are unresponsive. In the new year I'll be opening proceedings against Anyvan for the cost of a replacement wardrobe and the tip return

Made a booking over the phone, time slot 9.am to 1.pm, when i received confirmation email they quoted time slot of 9am to 17.51pm. when i phone to tell them this is not correct they said that i would need to pay extra £38.00 to change this. The agent who took my booking never said anything about the time slot was for pickup only ..... also they wanted to charge me extra £10.00 for picking up from the first floor. In total they want to charge extra £48.00 on top of £56.00 i already paid. The pick up was only 15 minutes away however it took them 8 hours to deliver furthermore when the wardrobe arrived it had a long scratch from one end of the front to the other end sadly. The wardrobe was immaculate before delivery now it looks sabby & de-valued. It should of been a simple job to pick & deliver only 15 minutes away however Anyvan.com choose to put my wardrobe in full van and drive it around London for 8 hours before delivering it. Tracking .... the driver never answers the phone. Customer service ..... i had to wait over 30 minutes before they answered the phone. Online chat was not helpful. Poor service all round ..... if you what stress free service i do not recommend ANYVAN.COM

Failed to move my house on contracted day. Anyvan arrived 4 hours late and claimed to have come with capability to move 6 bedroom property. However, refused to pack as my 3 bedroom property due to lack of space. Waited until 5 pm and told me they cannot do the job and left me. I already completed my sale and left with no solution. Forced me to find another removal company after 5 pm on Friday night. Zero star service. Payment was upfront and refused to refund, even after they have left me. At 8 pm they called me to say they will do the job with half the capacity of earlier that day and they will do the job before midnight. As they are planning to do this, if I refuse, cancellation was carried out by me and their policy is no cancellation on the day and No refund. This company is a joke. No customer service in mind and don’t realise what problems they leave behind if they fail to do the job. Also they only come with boxes and no bubble wrap for fragile items.

would give zero if I could, just don't bother with this company as they can't deliver, literally. I had booked a move this morning, they called to say their driver partner had pulled out and were looking into getting someone else lined up. On the phone with them all morning trying to find out what's happening as they were poor in keeping me updated so I had to keep calling for updates, i rearranged my times to make a later pick up possible and they keep assuring me they will get something sorted. One of the operatives I spoke to incorrectly put the same pick up and drop off time on the system, confusing and putting off any potential drivers. Eventually I'm advised that they could get someone but much too late at a time when my storage facility was shut. Just ineptitude every step of the way. So I was left without a mover

Van turned up was not big enough to carry all my furniture. So I had to carry my dining room chairs in my own vehicle. When unloading my furniture was treated with no respect or care , chips on most of the furniture. One of my bedside cabinets was damaged beyond repair. My bespoke river table was chipped. My wooden bed has chips all over it as do my wooden chairs. I'm appalled by the way my possessions have been treated. Stay away from this company if you value your possessions.

HORRENDOUS If you are looking for a moving company that shows up on the day you move to help move all your heavy items then look somewhere else. Booked 2 men & a van to remove 15 very heavy items, to show up at 10am (we had to be out by 1pm) no shows at 10.45 so rang the driver who advised he wouldnt get to us until 2pm!! So I called all other parties involved to push our house move back a little. I then got a call just before 2pm to say it would now be 6pm until they could get to us!!! No other drivers or vans available. Our buyers showed up wanting to get in, me & my partner to move a 3 bed house full of stuff. To say I was angry was an understatement. Got told we could cancel our booking but wouldn’t get any of the £350 we paid in full back. Rebook for the day after!!! What!!! This company is so lax. We did eventually get our refund, cancelled the job & moved our heavy items ourselves which we finished doing at midnight that evening we are now both suffering with bad backs which is why we thought we would pay someone to take all this stress & pain away in the first place!!! This company made the whole day horrendous & way harder than it should of been. AVOID
