Anyvan is a SCAM!!! Watch out! They took my money (200€) and never dis the move. Their transporter declined after I had paid the downpayment to anyvan. Now anyvan is refusing to pay it back saying I should have taken another mover from their site which is something I did not want to do after my first bad experience.

If you're looking for a removals service for moving house I would not recommend AnyVan. It was not made clear to me until the van arrived that you are in fact booking a courier, unassociated with AnyVan, who is doing multiple jobs at the same time which means their vehicle is full of other people's things and are vocal about working to an extremely tight schedule. When initially booking I was asked what kind of things i'd be moving and I assumed this was to ensure the right size van was booked. It was NOT made clear to me until the day of that the courier will only take the exact list of items previously supplied. How is someone supposed to know exactly how many boxes and bags they will have until they've packed up their house? This meant that the courier refused to take some of my items and I had to hire my own transport on top of AnyVan to move the rest of my things. The casual, laid back service of the customer service team when booking was not informative enough and if I had known this info when booking I would have used a different service that is more suited to the needs of someone who is moving house. An emotional and stressful day was made a lot harder by AnyVan, which just appears to be an expensive courier masquerading as a removals service. Would not recommend for flat and home removals.

Customer service of the collector was awful. He was late and rude. Kept telling us we had to pay for waiting time but we didn’t make him wait and then charged our account £88 with no breakdown of that price. When confronted, he didn’t seem bothered. We have since contacted the company for a refund of this £88 that quite frankly felt like a scam and have had the worst interaction with a man named Brian that may as well be a robot. No empathy or listening to what went wrong. Awful awful company that con people out of money. Will never use again and will tell everyone to avoid.

Save yourself the hassle and carry your stuff on your back! Day 1- WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER! I HAD A JOB SCHEDULED FOR TODAY AND THE DRIVER DIDNT EVEN BOTHER TO TURN UP AND HAD THE AUDACITY TO MESSAGE ME AND ASK TO CHANGE THE SLOT TO TOMORROW! KEPT CALLING THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TO GET A RESOLUTION AND OTHER THAN WORTHLESS MEANINGLESS APOLOGIES, THERE WAS NOTHING DONE TO TRY AND SORT THE SITUATION OUT! WORTHLESS! NOW I HAVE ALL MY THINGS IN BOXES AND NEED TO BE OUT OF MY CURRENT FLAT WITH MONEY (£300) BEING PAID AND NO SERVICES RENDERED! ALSO TO TALK TO A MANAGER OR SUPERVISOR, IT TAKES 48HOURS! THIS IS SOME KIND OF JOKE! HAD NO ISSUES WHEN IT CAME TO TAKING OUT THE MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT STRAIGHT AWAY BUT DO NOT WANT TO PROVIDE THE SERVICE THAT I HAVE PAID FOR! MOVING DAY IS ALREADY STRESSFUL BUT THIS COMPANY HAS JUST MADE IT EVEN WORSE! AFTER SPENDING HOURS ON THE PHONE, THEY FINALLY ASSIGNED ME TO ANOTHER DRIVER FOR THE NEXT DAY. Day 2- AFTER THE APPALLING SERVICE OFFERED YESTERDAY, I DECIDED TO CALL THE DRIVER ASSIGNED AND TURNS OUT HE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A JOB BOOKED FOR MY POSTCODE! GOT IN TOUCH AGAIN WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM ONLY TO BE LIED TO THAT THEY WERE WORKING OM FINDING ME ANOTHER DRIVER. IF I LEARNED ANYTHING FROM YESTERDAY IT WAS NOT TO TRUST THESE LIARS! SO AFTER WAITING ON THE CALL AND SPEAKING TO AN AGENT, I FINALLY HAD ENOUGH OF THEIR BULL AND CANCELLED THE JOB. THANKFULLY I HAD FAMILY COME TO MY RESCUE AND HELP ME OUT OR ELSE TRUSTING THIS COMPANY AND THEIR HORRENDOUS SERVICES WOULD HAVE PUT ME IN TROUBLE OF OVER STAYING IN MY FLAT! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO MY WORST ENEMIES! TO SAY THAT THEY ARE DEFINITELY A COMPANY FROM HELL, UNFORTUNATELY WOULD BE INSULTING HELL.

I use ANYVAN last July. This is my 15th house move, so I consider myself fairly experienced. The best thing i can say about this company is that the van actually turned up - judging on some of the experiences here i guess i should think myself lucky !! Anyvan was full aware i needed to move in one load - the van wasn't big enough. I had contacted the company on the day before the move and had been assured that they would send a big enough van ... when i objected i was told it was my own fault as i hdn't done my inventory correctly. This is complete rubbish i updated my inventory every time i packed more boxes to ensure it was bang on. Then the drivers complained because some of my boxes contained books. These were clearly marked as heavy and i made sure i could lift them easily myself (im a 4"10, 100lb woman with hypomobility) but no, apparently they were too heavy. they broke countless boxes and left the contents in a heap on the living room floor, they put everything in the living room despite the boxes being clearly marked with the room . They were rude and unhelpful and charged me £ 800 to move a 2 bed house with no wardrobes and only one bed , less then miles. It was a complete rip off. Out of all my moves this was the most stressful by far . i cannot stress how awful it was. Judging by some of the comments here, they regularly send smaller vans than promised then blame the customer .. AVOID THIS COMPANY .. i imagine the positive reviews are paid

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I HAVE HAD AN UTTER NIGHTMARE FROM MOVE DAY OVER A MONTH AGO AND I AM STILL IN DISPUTE WITH THEM FOR THE AWFUL SERVICE THAT I WAS PROVIDED. THEY JUST DONT CARE AT ALL AND WILL EXPECT YOU (but not tell you!) THAT YOU WILL SHARE A VAN WITH OTHER CUSTOMERS RESULTING IN ITEMS GOING MISSING AND LATE DELIVERY. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER USED AND FOR THE COST THEY WERE AN ABSOLUTE JOKE! HONESTLY, FIND A LOCAL REMOVALS COMPANY FOR A BETTER PRICE WHO WILL ACTUALLY GIVE YOU EXACTLY WHAT YOU PAID FOR AND A BETTER CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. USE ANYVAN AT YOUR OWN RISK - THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!! CONTACT ME IF YOU WANT ME TO SHARE MY FULL EXPERIENCE AND EMAIL EVIDENCE. DISGUSTING COMPANY WHO DEFINITELY DO NOT TAKE THE STRESS OUT OF MOVE DAY LIKE THEY PROMISE - THEY MADE IT ONE OF THE MOST STRESSFUL EXPERIENCES.

Booking system very easy to use, and for £93 I booked a van to move my frideg, however that’s where the praise ends, the 1st drivers arrived unprepared so we had to pay a surcharge for a 2nd team with specialist equipment-(£150) they arrived in a smaller van with less equipment - after leaving the fridge on the pavement they drove off- the office then held us to ransom and we had to pay another surcharge (£136) - 3rd team arrived the following morning after leaving our fridge on the pavement over night, with right equipment and enough people after the office had confirmed there booking , however once they had loaded the fridge into the van the office phoned and again asked for a surcharge because of the weight or they would leave it - another £200- just to confirm once they loaded it they phoned me to say either pay another £200 or will leave it behind and cancel the booking - ! - DON’T use this company as they will hold your item to ransom !!!! We are taking this further - we’ve now been charged £584.00 for a £93 delivery SHOCKING

Used Anyvan a few times now. The last time I tried them for a house removal they broke a ladder shelf even though I warned them that they couldn't disassemble it. This time I paid for the premium service thinking they'd take better care. Paid almost £700 just to move my furniture 10 minutes away for the 'Premium Service' booking reference AV 725 9580. My baby's cot fell apart 3 nights after we moved in and Anyvan 'investigated' and decided that since the cot hadn't fallen apart immediately, they couldn't take responsibility for the damage. My baby was in the cot when this happened. Sheer luck that he got away with only a bruise from falling out. Avoid Anyvan's assembly service and definitely do not depend on their customer service. It was very disappointing and I'm certainly never using them again.

These people are scammers. I booked on a Sunday afternoon and on their site everything looked fine including the date requested. By Monday morning I received a confirmation by email saying the date was the day after my booking. Speaking to their customer services and even to a manager I was told if I changed the date now it would cost twice the amount stated. If I cancelled it would cost me half the fee (which they had already taken so not even sure I will get half refunded). The charge is applicable if you cancel within 48 hours as stated in their 20 pages of conditions. There was not 48 hours between my booking and the date and time I requested. How much money are they taking from people like me. Disgusting service. Keep away.

I waited over 2 weeks for the missing parts of my delivery. Was verbally berated by driver which made me too scared to contact him again. I was told by anyvan.com I would not have to see him again and they would arrange a collection and re-delivery with another driver. Needless to say the original driver turned up at my house with no prior warning that it would be him. Was offered a £10 discount and a £20 credit for my distress which I did not accept.

Paid over £2500 for AnyVan to move us last June. -absolute f’ing disaster!!! Yes it was busy because of the Stamp Duty holiday ending, but they happily took our money and subbed it out to a bunch of incompetent idiots! They brought no blankets to wrap stuff in, bunged the contents in the van and when it got to midday, refused to take anymore (despite us being charged for an itemised list) and left us carrying remaining items up to the garage where they sat for a week (courtesy of the very understanding new owners). The bedroom tv and other stuff we found just left on the landing half way down the stairs! What was delivered to the new house was mostly scraped and damaged (no surprise) and a pair of chromed gym weights mysteriously didn’t arrive at all. Our complaint was passed to a total of four different people to deal with and £400 compensation was finally offered. Use AnyVan to move you at your peril! They keep your money and sub it out to anyone they can get to do the work. AVOID!

If I could give this company minus stars I would! Avoid at all costs! Terrible service! Slow, moaned the entire time and then dumped clearly marked boxes all in one room! They also informed me late afternoon that I would require two trips as too much to fit in one van, they knew the new buyer was waiting for keys! I only lived in a small 2 bed not a mansion!, why did they send a van that was not big enough to accommodate the expected one trip! If this wasn’t bad enough the driver then blackmailed me and stated that a second trip would not be done the on same day, but if I paid £100 in cash then it could be done but only if the kids and I helped to carry boxes from upstairs to the door!!! I have complained to the company who had the cheek to offer me £100 refund! Basically giving me back the money I was forced to give the drivers just to complete the job I had already paid for! Now they have made an offer of £200 as apparently that’s enough as I did use their service! What service, we practically moved ourselves!!!

Do not trust them with anything. They are not reliable. My move was a mess. They were to deliver Sunday evening but they did not deliver until 730 pm on a Monday. Leaving me and children without food duvet change of clothes diaper or milk for over 28 hours. Washing machine damaged. They offer 40 pounds refund as good gesture. What an insult. Despite the emotional stress they put me through. I rejected the 40 pounds. They are so rude and very dismissive. They charged over 350 pounds for the so called service. If I reject your 40 pounds gesture. What would a £10 amazon voucher do for me. If there was a vehicle breakdown what stops AnyVan from getting a Driver that comes straight to me in the next morning. Why do I have to wait for over 24 hours after the vehicle breakdown was reported before my goods get delivered. Despite emphasising the situation and the ages of my children. If I was a priority and you want to satisfy me as a customer it should not have taken that long for the delivery. The issue is not the breakdown but the deciet, incompetence and lack of empathy the company has. They think money does it all. They have no regard for the needs of children especially. How easy is it to tell a 19 months old, please you have to remain in soiled clothes because ANYMAN can't deliver, and how would a child understand that. Sorry baby I do not have your favourite food tonight. What a nonsense company that only thinks of itself. If I could give no star I would. Despite making a complaint about the damage to my washing machine, all they did was to deny responsibility for it as well. If they are good at anything is to deny responsibility for their fault.

I used this company 3 years ago and can see from the reviews that they haven’t improved! It was awful I chose them as it was cheaper than others but was so stressful I booked for before 8am, then called and changed time to 10. I told them it was a house move and I didn’t know what time I would get keys to new house, they said that was fine and it would be an extra £20 an hour if they had to wait around The day before the driver phoned and said can I come for 7am? I said not really, you’ll be waiting around for ages as I won’t get keys till at least 12. He said you should of told us that? I’ve got another job to get to? I told him I had told them So I spent the whole day stressing are they gonna let me down? Two more people called to change the time! They turned up on time and were really nice They said oh we thought it was a ground floor removal? I put on their website moving from a house to a house so that made no sense They waited around for an hour I got a call the next day asking me to pay £40, I said I was told £20 and had it in writing? The guy seemed surprised I complained and they offered me £10 off my next anyvan booking! I said I won’t be using your company ever again, please refund me into my bank It’s stressful enough moving house and they made it so much worse

If you are moving home, I would suggest avoiding at all cost. The driver arrived at the delivery spot two hours before the agreed time, and started calling me while I was on the train asking for 48 pounds per hour compensation. I tried to call the company but no one picked up, then I had to use the chat service that had to contact the driver and agreed with him that if I arrive after 5 pm I will pay a penalty, although the agreement was for delivery between 5 and 6!!! A long stressful day became more focused on the mood of the driver who was upset for waiting two hours than the actual move. Bad experience overall, and I would recommend you use another company.

I used AnyVan to return table to retailer. My AnyVan’s own admission they delivered to completely the wrong address. The table is now lost. I have proof of purchase and confirmation from the retailer it is lost. I took out insurance with AnyVan - and yet still they refuse to accept liability. Be warned!!
