“Initially I struggled to programme the remote but after a bit of practice I set it up. You have to press the buttons quite hard and a few times to get it to work. There is a fair delay after pressing a button until the TV changes the channel. This confuses my mother so she keeps pressing the button and multiple numbers appear at the top of the screen which confuses her more. The TV only selects the five channels I programmed so it eventually works but this has put her off. Her TV is old and this delay may be the TV's fault and not the remote. Generally it works but It does not really inspire confidence. I am sure it helps some people but it didn't really help my 91 year old mother.”
