“Ordered on a Sunday. Delivery quoted at 3-5 days. Sent email on third day (Wed) requesting update. 'Sales' email address bounced. I called on Thursday to chase. Was told my order would be dispatched the following week due to Easter, even though Thursday took us to 4 working days. I informed A Farley if I did not get an update that day on shipping, I would request refund. Later that day I go confirmation from DPD and my order was delivered on Saturday. Its a shame that I had to resort to a threat of a refund to get my order shipped within the quoted delivery time. I had ordered other clothes from two other retailers at the same time and both arrived before this order with no delays. My order itself was shipped correctly, however I have to say that Alan Paines colour description of 'Dark Navy' is very misleading. It is actually Dark Green and a lighter green inside the Gilet. Overall, while the price was good, the service from A Farley was not as expected.”

“Good service. Had to phone up with query - dealt with efficiently. Bought a pair of dealer boots. Very pleased with them. PS review stated they were very narrow fit - nonsense. Same fit as pair of Docs. As I said, very pleased with them. Will use Farley's again.”

“Did have a problem with delivery being a little longer than stated but Holly from customer services contacted me and explained what had happened. She kindly offered me a voucher so I was left happy.”

“I am quite pleased with the service and the product quality was very good, however, after paying £249 for a Harris Tweed jacket, I had no confirmation email following my purchase. My husband called requesting confirmation of our purchase, but still no confirmation email nor when my purchase will be delivered. I made a second call to which your customer service advisor apologised and sent the confirmation email twice. I believe it was possibly just an error as she was very helpful and polite on the phone.”

“Thrilled with my new boots. Even with a very high instep I didn’t find these too bad to get on. And once on they are just going to relax and get comfier over time. I walk 10k most days with lots of dogs in forests and fields and lots of mud. Warm and waterproof with arch support too. 👍 Love them.”

“Before purchasing some Harkila wellington boots, I tried to speak to one of your advisers on the phone. I waited at least 45 minutes but gave up. I therefore went ahead and placed the order but - as I feared - the boots are large for the size and I now have to return them at my own cost. This could have been avoided.”

“Like many online retailers, Farley takes payment before goods despatch which sometimes is 2-3 weeks Also no free returns unlike many similar companies Product range is good, but delivery times slow”

“Recently purchased a pair of ARIAT Savannah boots, unfortunately they will be going back as they do not fit. I could not get my feet into the boots as the opening where the zip is too narrow for my feet to slide in. Disappointed”

“Unfortunately, the Barbour jacket I ordered was out of stock in the size required. But it was put on back order and Louisa agreed to honour the sale price. Louisa couldn't have been more helpful. I only had to wait a couple of weeks for the jacket to be delivered. I can thoroughly recommend A Farley Country Attire.”

“Excellent customer service couldn’t fault the product however the delivery from DPD was a little disappointing as initially we received an message that the delivery was coming the next day but this transpired to be an error and we received it a few days later.”
