“Bought some Barker's shoes which were very nice. Only thing was they arrived in a Barker's box that was broken on 2 sides (they were not splits due to transport company just looked like an old, knackered box). Doesn't detract from the nice shoes but not what I would expect for a premium product”

“I ordered a pair of mountain horse paddock boots in November. DPD came to my address twice and failed to leave the parcel. This does not happen with any other company. All my parcels are left in a large secure box near my front door, except this one! Then one is unable to talk to a person and their website is not got for purpose. This was a massive mistake to order these and I would like a full refund or the boots delivered and actually left in the box.”

“I bought a Barbour Northumbria jacket from A Farley. First thing to say is that it was an excellent price for a standard product - so if that’s what you are looking for then all good. A couple of criticisms though. Firstly the product was ‘in stock’ but took quite a while to be shipped. No explanation for that. When it arrived it was in a plastic bag-type package. The bag was torn so the jacket was exposed. That wouldn’t have been too bad had the jacket been in it’s clear plastic bag from Barbour. It wasn’t - that was in the pocket of the coat. Minor points perhaps but easy to put right and would have avoided a potential issue with the jacket on arrival. So would I recommend? Yes, just. But a little more attention to detail and effort and that would have been a definite yes. Hopefully they will read this and put that right.”

“I am very pleased with the service I received from you recently. The jumper I ordered was out of stock and you very kindly wrote to say that I could keep the order ready for when it was re-stocked or have a refund. It arrived very soon in the new year. I bought the jumper for my son who is coming for a visit next week and I know that the quality will be excellent as we've had this make before, it's just a question of the size and I won't know if I got that right until he arrives.”

“Terribly terribly late more than 2 weeks after Christmas- shockingly poor service this time having given them a second chance when they forgot to send me my first order - which also too two weeks. Dreadful service and barraged with emails It is unbelievable. Following this review an immediate and very personal apology was received from the very polite and efficient Holly - almost back in my good books! Thank you a Holly and I hope all your staff have fully recovered from Covid.”
