“Step2 up down Roller Coaster is amazing . Bought for my grandsons 2nd birthday . Sturdy , easy/quick to set up . Amazing toy . Would thoroughly recommend. So many people at his birthday bar b que commented what a great toy it is . Well used by many children already !!!”

“This is a great toy, and my little one loves it. However it is overpriced for what it is, that said it is better quality than the usual hot wheels items on the market and feels more durable. Overall I am happy with the purchase.”

“Received on time. Disappointed that product was advertised as weighing 72 KG (therefore really solid and quality) but in fact was only 40 KG so almost half less wood weight than advertised.”

“My son absolutely loves his swing set. It was easy to build from what I could see... being as my brother built it for us 😆 Keeps the children entertained in the garden and the trapeze bar and rings are amazing! Would certainly recommend.”

“I purchased the swing to be delivered directly to my daughter as a surprise for my grand daughter, so l haven't actually seen the swing for myself. However the swing was delivered, the box in which some of the parts was already broken open upon delivery so there was a possibility of some items missing. The wood was mouldy, but was cleaned up and all was assembled much to my granddaughters delight. It was a shame that there were these shortcomings as they took the shine off what was intended to be a little treat. The swing is swinging though.”

Dear Stephen, I confirm that the green mottling on the wood is caused by a reaction of the sap in the and the copper based treatment used. This is completely harmless and will weather off in time or can be washed off. We do have some further information regarding this on our website at the following link; https://www.plumplay.co.uk/about-our-wood. I can assure you this is not mould. With regards to missing as discussed via email if you can send images we can verify if you are missing any pieces and have this ressolved.

“Prompt delivery but unfortunately there was a damaged base part on the trampoline. Customer service were very prompt to pass the request on to Plum but 3 weeks later and we still don't have the replacement part. I suspect this issue is more down to the manufacturer than Activity Toys Direct but all round the service has fallen slightly short of the required mark.”

“Ordered a Plum single swing. The top beam had a huge split along it when it arrived and Activity Toys Direct refused to replace it and said all their beams were the same ie. had splits. The instructions were wrong in one part. There was a picture of a beam with a badge on it which was not correct so we ended up building the wrong way round and having to re-build. It said it should take 2 hours to build but probably double that!!”

Splits in the wood are completely normal this time of year and all all of wooden posts are splits. Please see some information below - The pinewood frames are class 4 autoclave treated which is safe for children and the environment. As wood is a natural material, climate changes contribute to cracks inside the wood. In hot sunny weather the timber will shrink. In wet weather the wood will expand. These changes may not occur uniformly throughout the wood and cracks may appear. Please be aware that these splits and cracks are taken into account when the safety tests are conducted (EN71/8). These cracks, however alarming they may seem, do not alter the structural integrity of the framework. Any splintering caused by weather conditions can be rubbed down with a course grade sandpaper to restore a smooth safe surface. Finally the frame work is guaranteed against structural failure of the framework.

“Really happy with my purchase. My son is 4 and loves it. Bigger than i thought but fits in my garden perfectly. Putting it together took longer than 5 hours. Instructions could be a little clearer. Overall very happy.”

“The swing looks good but is very wobbly as the holes where you slot the wooden poles into are too big. We have had to buy wooden wedges to fill the holes. Our children are to scared to use the swing at present.”

Legs are intentionally not a tight fit into the corner brackets, particularly when dry. You may notice that when the wood is swollen after heavy rain, the expansion will close the gap within the brackets.
