“The product and packaging itself were perfect. However Fedex service was dreadful- impossible to contact and basically doing knock and run. Very stressful to the point where we nearly abandoned and purchased elsewhere. Change your shipping provider!”

“Lovely set once assembled but absolute nightmare to put together. Poor instructions and many of the pieces were not even labelled so it was trial and error! Took over 4 hours to put together !!!definitely a job for a tradesman”

“Order arrived rather scratched and filthy. Company don't like to respond much to help, all they say is the product is made like this in manufacturing. They have no attention to detail, just shove stickers in packaging all bent and creased. Wouldn't purchase from them again.”

“The speedy delivery was great and so was the communication. However my item came with 2 missing parts. So when the present was unwrapped it couldn't be used. However I he emailed and hopefully I can have the parts sent to me by post”

“Purchased an art table for Christmas, it was delivered and placed in my garden where nobody could see it. No notifications from the delivery company at all to say it was placed there. Found it 10 days later absolutely soaked in rain. Got a reply from activity toys direct saying it'd robust. No further action. Quite disappointed”

“Had a part missing which was disappointing but gained a part that was not in the instructions and nowhere for it to go at all so it obviously doesn’t belong in this package , you do expect everything to be there when you are buying something that isn’t exactly that cheap now I’m left with two empty spaces, I don’t get why I had to pierce the screws through hard plastic which wasn’t that easy for me personally but I got there in the end I wouldn’t recommend if you have problems with your hands. I would expect the holes to already be there for the screws to go into. Apart from the missing part and the screw holes it’s a nice water table and sturdy and I’m sure he will enjoy it. I’m really disappointed with the missing part as things like that bug me but didn’t realise until I had put it up and it’s my sons birthday so I don’t want to box it back up and disappointment him so I’ll suck it up.”

“Really disappointed. First time I have ordered from Activity Toys Direct and the gift did not arrive until after my grandchilds birthday. No update until I started chasing. Hermes let you know if there is a delay. Tuffnells base in Bristol apparently had a backlog. If I had received a phone call my son could have collected from the depot and saved upsetting my grandchild.”

“Box arrived wet and beaten. Didn't take long to build but noticed a major part missing which meant my son couldn't play with this on Xmas day. Had to order the replacement part directly from the manufacturer. Pretty disappointed.”

“I got a Step 2, push along car for my grandson and came to assemble it to find the bolt and not was missing and the hole was not even drilled. Very poor quality assurance from step 2, would not contemplate using them again. Contacted the seller activitytoysdirect and still no response 7 days on. Meant I had to procure a special bolt and drill the hole myself. A lot of hassle to be ready for Christmas, very unhappy.”

“Ordered a couple of things from you one was perfect the garage i ordered wasnt worth the £49.99 as i thought you got car with it and when i phoned to ask about sending it back i was told it would cost me £15.00 to get it uplifted which i think is a bit steep. I kept the garage but not sure if i would use your site again.”
