“I purchased the 3 pack of these reeds to try them out. They arrived very promptly and I am pleased to say that I liked them (although the description of the reeds says that the reeds remain consistent. I did not find that! Some too hard, or not a such a good tone) despite this I liked them enough to order a 10 pack. I have only just started playing with these reeds, having used Vandoren V12 for years.”

“Un contact facile et efficace mais les délais de réception sont trop longs Dommage car nous n'avons pas pu de ce fait intégrer la pièce commandée dans le programme prévu. Et surtout de nombreux frais imprévus par le site ont fait grimper la facture de façon très importante, voire vraiment trop importante. Bref acheter un fichier PDF serait sans doute sans problème mais pas de partition imprimée!”

“I will definitely order again from Ackerman My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that having successfully ordered and paid for 80 copies of Phantom of the Opera for my choir online on a Saturday evening, I received an email first thing the following Monday telling me they were out of stock at the publisher and the estimated time for delivery was 28 days. Happily they arrived 7 days later, excellent packaging and delivery. If I need music urgently Iin future I will make a phone call first. Thank you”

“Good company and prompt. However your website needs to provide more to be able to view the music looked at to judge standards, type, etc and also be made more aware that in this case the backing tracks have to be purchased separately adding on over double the price of the book. This is not clear due to being unable to look through it online.”

Hi Valerie, Thank you for your review. We have been repackaging reeds for many years now so we can send them 'large letter' with Royal Mail. This keeps our postal charges free, or as low as we can. Please see the below from the website. Postage In order to keep your reed prices as cheap as possible, we re-package Vandoren reeds to fit the "large letter" postal size. Each reed is still individually sealed in its original packaging but you won’t receive an original sealed outer box. If you wish your reeds to come in the original sealed box (£2 surcharge), please phone one of our shops on 0333 344 0070. Orders of 2 or more boxes will be sent sealed in their original outer boxes. “This is a good and well rounded collection of Classical and early Romantic pieces. It's beautifully arranged on hight quality paper with a clear print. The addition of glossy coloured pictures showing the keyobards from the period when this music was written is an extra bonus. It is an interesting mix of the pieces of the great composers, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and their pupils as well as other composers active between 1760 and 1827.”
