“Ackerman processed by two orders very efficiently, the price was excellent, and the scores in perfect condition. My reservations concern the use of EVRi for delivery. 1. So far as concerns the first order, originally we had an e-mail saying the estimated delivery date was Friday, September 13. We satisfied ourselves that one of us would be home on that day, and thought no more about it. In fact, it was delivered on Sunday 8th, and we had an e-mail notifying us of this only on that same day, less than four hours before the actual delivery. Had we made plans to be out on Sunday 8th, we wouldn’t have known it was going to be delivered and couldn’t have made alternative arrangements for delivery. 2. So far as concerns the second order, again, the only notice we had of delivery was an e-mail two or three hours before actual delivery, so, again, if we'd been out, we would not have had the opportunity to make alternative arrangements. Also, the item was pushed through a too-small letterbox. As a result the packaging was torn open. I feared tyhe score m,ight be damaged, but fortunately it wasn't. I hope Ackerman will impress upon EVRi the need to give to give customers better advance notice of delivery--at least 24 hours--and to wait for the customer to come to the door instead of using a too-small letterbox with risk of damage to the merchandise.”

“Excellent service. My Yamaha clavinova was delivered on time and set up unbelievably quickly. Moreover, there was no anoying box or wrapping left to clear up. What more could anyone ask for! The clavinova is a joy to play. Although one of the less fancy models it is light years from my old clavinova (20years old?) So far, well done Yamaha and well done Ackerman Music.”
