“Good customer service. Product arrived promptly. But ordering online I got a message from Ackerman saying the order hadn’t gone through as there was a problem but didn’t tell me what. PayPal told me the money had been sent. I called Ackerman the next morning and it was all dealt with efficiently and I received my order.”

“It arrived on good time. However it was advertised as 'book and audio'. I paid more from you than on Amazon, thinking I would get the CD. But when it arrived there was no CD, we had to download the tracks, which made it the same as Amazon for £4 more!”

Hello there, I'm sorry you were unhappy with your purchase. A lot of the more recent music books now come with the opportunity to download audio as less people now have CD players available to them. The price of these books is set by the publisher - you'll see most music shops selling at that price. Kind regards. Anthony

“Book arrived on time. However I ordered the book which included a CD, yet they delivered one with the audio download. Couldn’t be bothered to have to send it back and wait for what I originally ordered. So I’ve made do with the audio version.”

Hello there. Unfortunately a lot of publications are in the process of switching over to audio downloads instead of CD. We are trying to keep our website as up to date as possible with all the changes but it appears this one slipped through the net. You would of course be entitled to a full refund if you returned the book but unfortunately these aren't available with the Cd now. Kind regards. Anthony

“This was part of a larger order which was delivered very promptly as usual - however unfortunately my order was sent to my billing address rather than shipping address - so I had to make a separate trip into the delivery centre to collect my package - what a shame :-(”

“I wanted to buy some Bb clarinet reeds today, but I could not log in. (Must have forgotten my password or something). So I bought them from Dawkes instead, as they have a 'sign in as a guest', so you don't have to remember your log in details. Maybe you should consider doing this too.”

I am sorry for any confusion. You can by-pass the login and it does say this is optional quite clearly in the checkout page. This is the same effect as sign-in as a guest. I believe this is what you did last time you ordered from us - which is why you could not login this time.
