Hi Valerie, Thank you for your review. We have been repackaging reeds for many years now so we can send them 'large letter' with Royal Mail. This keeps our postal charges free, or as low as we can. Please see the below from the website. Postage In order to keep your reed prices as cheap as possible, we re-package Vandoren reeds to fit the "large letter" postal size. Each reed is still individually sealed in its original packaging but you won’t receive an original sealed outer box. If you wish your reeds to come in the original sealed box (£2 surcharge), please phone one of our shops on 0333 344 0070. Orders of 2 or more boxes will be sent sealed in their original outer boxes. “Great service, great price. The music arrived very quickly. We had a query about the instructions inside the cover to unlock the music downloads and the staff at Ackerman's went out of their way to resolve it.
