“I ordered a custom necklace on the 8th of September for my wife, to mark the arrival of our second child. I’d hoped to have it within three weeks for her birthday — which felt like a fair expectation at the time. Over a month later, I noticed the tracking hadn’t updated for weeks. When I contacted Abbott Lyon, I was told to wait until a full month had passed. After following up again, they confirmed there was an issue but asked me to wait another 48 hours for a further update — not a resolution. It felt like once they had my money, there wasn’t much care for what happened next. The replies were mostly automated and repetitive, asking me to “wait”. Eventually, they reached out to arrange a replacement, which sounded promising. I was told to expect delivery between the 28th and 31st of October, using a better courier. However, when I checked in during that window as no tracking details had been provided, I was suddenly told I’d have to wait until the 19th of November — with no explanation, and the support agent seemed unaware of my previous issues. Then, within the same email chain, I was told I’d receive the item by today (November 3rd) at the latest, only to be told moments later that they couldn’t guarantee that, and that it would take at least 48 hours to get a tracking number. When I questioned the mixed messages, I was again informed there was an issue and that the order was delayed indefinitely. Nearly three months on, I’ve gone round in circles — out of pocket, out of patience, and still without the product I paid for. There’s clearly something very wrong with how Abbott Lyon is currently operating. It’s a shame, because the product itself looks great — and I’ve added an extra star assuming it lives up to the quality others describe. But the overall experience has been frustrating, opaque, and frankly disappointing. Poor communication, slow resolution, and a lack of accountability throughout. I genuinely hope Abbott Lyon takes this feedback as motivation to identify where their process is breaking down and to improve — for their customers and for their own reputation. For now though, I’d strongly advise others to think twice before ordering, especially if you’re relying on it as a gift.”
