The clothes look and feel beautiful. Lovely fabric and styles. The fit wasn't right for me, and I had to return. That process is tedious and ridiculously long to get your refund. Mailed back on the slowest way possible. I don't know if I would order online again with the prospect of returning taking so long.

Hi, I really like the quality of you products and this makes the high price point worth it. Delivery is good but the returns process is very poor - it takes absolutely ages to get a refund. It puts me off purchasing more items. Also, I am 5' 6" in height which is not short, nor particularly tall. I find it odd that even 'short' trousers are too long. With most other brands regular or short is fine. Again, this is a reason for me not to purchase trousers in a style where shortening them will affect the style (ie those with a wide flare at the bottom). Even a good dressmaker will not get a finished result as good as the original.

As a US customer, delivery is fast but the return/refund process is absolutely brutal. And because I can’t try on in a store, ordering online makes sizing, style, colors, etc., it is difficult to be sure it all works out to keep. The refund process definitely deters me from placing future orders.

I bought pants and a jacket because they were a suit. The fabric is a beautiful colour and lovely quality. The fit is a bit snug and could certainly be a little more generous. After making the purchases I received an email telling me that the pants were not available (which means the website was incorrect) and I received a refund but I was left with half a suit. I engaged in an email conversation about my situation and asked to be informed when the pants became available again but my request was ignored. Three months after my original purchase the pants were advertised again. There is a lot of opportunity in my experience for improved customer service.

I used to be Me and Em's No. 1 fan....for a long time. But not any more. I too, feel they are losing their way. I buy far less than I used to. I am less excited by each new collection. I find most of the maxi dresses are somewhere between midi and maxi and a lot of the trousers just don't have the hems that they used to in order to be able to lengthen them. I have also been hugely put off by the attitude of some of their staff. Senior staff in particular. And I have vowed I will never step inside the Elizabeth Street branch again. It's a much happier experience to shop online. I still have huge admiration for the company in terms of the quality and style. As someone who has a massive Me and Em wardrobe, I now find myself looking elsewhere and I can't quite put my finger on why.

The quality and cut of the clothes in the past have been great. More recently the clothes have been delivered badly and the cut a less favourably fit. I’m missing some of the classic cuts you had done previously

The clothes are beautiful and stylish, as well as high-quality, but I am disappointed in the service. To this day, I have not received one product out of three. I wrote a claim, but there was no response to the first letter. I wrote a second claim, reacted, but did not receive the product until 25 days have passed since the order.

Good quality. It just hard to fit to someone like me 5’3” especially the dresses. All of them are way too long. Wish they make some thing for petit size. Another thing is return and refund. It takes too long to get the fund back.

I love ME+EM, many items are so beautiful with great attention to details! The quality varies though unfortunately. Also, no matter how big is your order you have to pay for a delivery! I have ordered once for almost £1000 and they still charged for £5 for delivery…really? you don’t make enough profit to incorporate this charges in the order?? I had to return a dress which came with a damaged button so a bit disappointing. Also I find the company’s strategy/values a bit inconsistent. You sent an email whita a beautiful story about why you don’t do Black Friday sale, saying that you want the purchases not to be rushed and you don’t believe in fast fashion etc and you prefer to donate to charity….and after like 2 weeks you starting a big sale sending lots of emails, new lines added to sale etc. not sure if this works in your favour. It is nice to get a discount but I have bought a full priced items which were discounted within weeks…so now I know I have to just wait a bit longer to get what I want for a discounted price. The return process is easy enough with an option to return to a shop which I like.

I absolutely me+em clothes but they are very overpriced and my biggest bug bear is dresses not having a back zip - it’s near on impossible to not get make up on your clothes without a back zip and for the price every dress should have one!! Also I am 5ft 3” and even the short length isn’t short whereas Reiss’ petite selection is spot on!! Also had two pairs of short trousers and both were different lengths! I would buy so much more than I already do if the prices were a bit more reasonable and the service in store matched the said prices!! Quite often the staff just ignore you, offer no help or advice - this has happened to me in the Brook St and Marylebone stores!!! Just terrible

I do think Me & Em has a place for a certain woman of a certain age, but for me personally it’s just not cool. The details are always a bit off and the cut is not made for its target market. The fabric quality often poor for the price point - it’s not cheap yet quite often polyester or mix of. Nothing feels generous or considered which it could so easily be with a few tweaks. The pieces I do tend to like are beyond me price wise £1000 plus for sheepskin coat or leather trousers. Like I said, it has a place but it’s not cool or edgy enough for me.

Have been a customer for years. I like that some of the items are instant classics and will forever have a place in my wardrobe and in that sense are great value. Eg a black wool blazer I bought a few years ago and more recently a cream/beige blazer. However, the prices are just too high now. What used to be £175-275 is easily £250-495 now! Just not worth that much. Your cashmere, denim and layering tops are definitely overpriced compared to competitors. Dresses I want to love but often hate the elastic cuffs and zip necklines. The quality does seem to be going down recently despite prices going up. In terms of service I’ve never had any issues.

I love the stying of your pieces. However the trousers and dresses are not petite friendly and I can’t order any of them. Also, I’ve written twice to your customer service and have never received any response. The most recent feedback was regarding the poor quality of your delivery box. When my ordered arrived the sides of the box were crushed and made large opening on the sides. The items could have easily fallen out, which luckily for this delivery it didn’t happen. I sent photos to your customer service and it would be good to at least get an acknowledgment.

Love the designs - only issue is having to pay for delivery particularly when items are on the higher price end. Most brands don't expect you to pay postage for items over, for example £100.

Beautifully made clothing, in excellent fabrics. Some items I’ve now had long enough to appreciate the quality in manufacture. The garments are also very comfortable and practical-in addition to being flattering! Delivery with Royal Mail is excellent, in terms of speed and information provided. I will continue to turn to this company for staple, even though the price point is high for the High Street. As the same granny used to say, ‘If you buy cheap, you buy dear!’

I received an email with code for 15% discount I was excited. I’d ordered something once for my daughter for Christmas but can’t really afford for me. I would like to buy everything because it’s all so beautiful and such good quality. So I decided with 15% I can order a few things. When I went to checkout (online) I couldn’t see code for applying the 15%. But in my haste (and tbh to get my mitts on the beautiful things I’d ordered) I paid. But I was cross with myself for acting in haste. So I ordered again, just one item, at a third of the cost of original order. And I successfully applied the 15%. I tried calling customer care but obviously on Sunday no one manning the phones . I called today and was absolutely truthful and recognised my error. And asked please amalgamate two orders (done within minutes) and give 15% on both. To my surprise she said NO. I was genuinely surprised. Come on ! Seriously! You want good reviews? You must want people to say: amazing company, amazing, kind, helpful, friendly and obliging staff? I know my mistake, I get it. So let me cancel order and give me new code and I’ll reorder and apply new code …. And she said …. NO! Again! Ok ok I get it. No can do. Bye . End of sorry story.

I love the Me+Em clothes that I have brought (on line). The quality is great and the fit excellent BUT I do have to say I ALWAYS have a negative experience in stores I have visited (london). I myself own a retail store and would be disappointed if my customers were treated as I have been at Me+Em. I will keep trying!!

I was a little disappointed in the quality of my purchase. I understand now that some products are manufactured in China while others are not. My dress had loose unfinished threads on every embroidered polka dot and had a strong chemical smell. I ended up returning, the ordering + return process was quite seamless and I know many others have wonderful experiences so not discouraged from trying again but clarify in manufacturing location would be nice, especially for the price of some items.
