“I booked a rental with 121 carhire which was supplied in Alicante by Firefly. On the 121 website it stated that breakdown cover was included with the rental but on arrival I was told by Firefly staff that this was not so unless I took out their optional insurance. As this could have serious implications I emailed 121 to clarify but have yet to receive a reply. Travellers beware.”
“I found the whole process simple and straight forward. It took only 10 minutes to sort out the paperwork and collect the car at Paphos airport.

“Service was quick and easy with friendly staff the car was very nice if there was one thing that i did not like it would be the handbrake in the I40 but this was only because i travelled to Cornwall and the automated handbrake is awkward when you have some many steep hills !”
“I booked through cartrawler.com and the actual hire was with Maggiore.
Collection was easy and the shuttle bus from Naples airport takes a mere 3 minutes. The Maggiore reception was friendly and quick and the car 1 minute away.
I was expecting a slightly larger car than the C1 offered. But is was clean and it ran well.
On return the shuttle bus driver saw us but still took off with only 2 people on board! He actually drove off behind a full bus. We had to wait 15 minutes for the next one.
This to be fair was not the fault of Maggiore.”
“The price was good compared to others but I did book early, its was a shame the vehicle was a bit scruffy looking and basic, the radio didn't work needed the code to be entered, this is such a small thing both to do and not to have.
Pick up drop off was easy,”
“I found 121Car Hire first rate (using Europcar as the vehicle provider). I am serious. I am a sceptic at heart and expected to be billed for scratches etc that I hadn't made. None of that ... Yet! On collection it was very easy. The paperwork however said there was no damage to the vehicle although it had scratches on all sides. Perhaps I was over cautious as I didn't want to get stung with a whopping excess charge. Anyhow the lady helped me and wrote down all of the minor damages without issue. The drop off was so easy. Absolutely no problems. In truth, I got the impression that they were only interested in major or obvious damage. It was very professional all round would highly recommend them and Europcar without problem. I would use the company again without hesitation. Thank you.”
“Its simple suppliers are quality names and you get what you asked for and with 1-2-1 if you take out there very favourable insurance their are no hidden costs
