“This was the best deal I could find. I hired from Bristol airport but when I arrived I had to ring a number as the car hire firm were just 5minute drive away. The came and collected us and brought us to where they were. Service very good and would definitely use again.”

The only slight concern was the wait at the Sixt desk at Dublin airport as there was a queue and one person was becoming a bit aggressive about the delay.
The positive of this was that everybody coming off our aeroplane was using Sixt and not the other car hire firms.

“I wanted to change the size of car and was guided to a phone number. I chose to cancel the deal and rebooked using Email as the change over the phone would have been much more expensive. It would be nice to be able to do it without this rigmarole.”
“We couldn't find the office at Glasgow Airport at first, but staff was friendly to help us and explained us how to get there. We got a fairly new and very clean car. Staff forgot to tell us about the steering wheel lock, which led to quite a bit of a shock when we couldn't start the car. However, drop off was very easy and done within a few minutes.”
“Good exept the box for the keys was too small for some customer's keys as it was a bank Holliday en France upon our return and there was no staff to meet the customers. Our golf key was fortunately right size to put in through the slot!”
“Very good service from start to finish, the shuttle service was prompt and courteous and the reception staff likewise. My only grumble is that like so many car rental firms in Spain they have the out full return empty nonsense which is not a problem if, like us you use the car a lot, but to have to pay an inflated charge for a full tank of fuel which you did not use is not acceptable really!”
“Booked at a good price on-line with airport pick-up. Flight was cancelled and so had to alter booking which was easily managed on-line but became more expensive. At airport took out additional insurance which made the whole booking much more expensive, as the supplier did his best to frighten with stories of how much would have to pay even for a small scratch. I wouldn;t choose to book again with GoldCar.”
