“I found the prices good, and it was great that what I wanted was in stock and could be delivered quickly. The only things that left me unimpressed was first of that one of the pallets was so old and rotten, that it broke out on the road - sending a tonne of gravel everywhere (not the delivery driver's fault). I had to shovel it all into another bag inside my driveway!!! Also, the courier used by Stone & Garden (React) don't have powered forked handtrucks. So the driver could only get the bags just inside my driveway. I have had LOTS of gravel delivered in the past five years, and powered forked handtrucks are able to traverse gravel so that the bags can be dropped anywhere. Un-powered ones can't cope with the bag weights on gravel. I'm amazed that a company like React aren't using powered forked handtrucks!!! It is 2025!”

Hi Barry, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review for us, glad you're happy with the products ordered and turnaround. I've passed on your feedback to production about 1 of the 3 pallets having an issue, I've also passed on your feedback about the driver having a manual not electric pump truck to UPN who delivers on behalf of us (React will be the delivery depot in your area that deliver UPN consignments). “Very quick service,and delivery.the man on the van was really helpful as well. Although I must say there were more smaller stones not all 100-200 mmin size ,where as when I bought the Scottish pebbles from eBay they were certainly a better 200and mm in size.same company .”

“Three bulk bags of Alpine Black and a bulk bag of black rocks arrived on time and were all barrowed into place over the weekend. The results are brilliant. It looks great when dry and after rain looks fantastic. With some judicious planting the garden is transformed. Well worth the money. Thanks Stone & Garden.”

“Good quality bark, this is our 6th bag ( large garden) delivered on time with a phone call to give you exact time so no hanging about waiting. Competitive prices easy to order. What more could we ask for, yes I would highly recommend recommend.”

“Hugely impressed with the range, placed an order which was delivered in a timely fashion - alas, parts missing so can’t set up the water feature. Another dodgy web based business i fear ☹️. Spoke to a charming lady who will discuss with the water feature department and get back to me ‘but it wont be today’.”

“On the whole STone & Garden are good, the products are good and the price fair, BUT, this time the delivery process has been poor. The gravel did not show up on the day it was supposed to, not contact from the company or their delivery firm. I had to ring the following day to find out what was going on and get it sorted. Even then it didn't come that day and it wasn't until late the following day that it arrived. Two full days late - not impressed. I only hope they do better next time or this will be the last order I give them.”
