“A truly fantastic online course! What I loved most is the complete flexibility - I could study at my own pace, anytime and anywhere that suited me. The material is crystal clear, well-structured, and completely fluff-free. As an introvert, the self-paced online format was a huge relief - no mandatory live video sessions or in-person classes required. Having multiple attempts for the tests also removed so much stress from the learning process. In a short period, it systematized all my knowledge and gave me a solid framework for lesson planning. I’m already applying these tools in my online teaching. Highly recommended!”

“I found the platform user-friendly, i.e., easy to navigate and aesthetically pleasing (simple but effective and functional). I also appreciate that the course content had various media for engagement, e.g., videos, quizzes, and assignments.”

“I found the TEFL course comprehensive and now I am finished feel ready to give teaching a go for real. I was initially overwhelmed, starting with the Grammar Course.. I had not idea how much there was to the English Language. But I paced myself and there was plenty of resources and support so it was very manageable in the end.”

“I had a great experience doing this course. I already had some experience teaching, but I feel like I had all these loose flowers in my head, that have been collected into a beautiful bouquet, and I can now harness their magic to do a much better job for my students in my classrooms. The course is easy to follow and very thorough. I was happy to receive very detailed feedback and help when I reached out to my tutors privately. The time constraint and deadlines are realistic. You get exactly what you paid for, and that is something that on its own deserves praise. I have not only recommended this course already to many colleagues, but I will be a champion of this organization going forth, because being a teacher is hard on its own, but belonging to this community is incredibly rewarding.”

“The TEFL Org will give you a basic TEFL education, that will allow you to get a job teaching English. This course will provide you with a handful of skills to use in your education career, and would be a wonderful place to start for someone interested in pursuing education further, or perhaps someone interested in teaching for just a year contract in a foreign location. There are many aspects of teaching that were not touched on or properly relayed during this course, such as classroom management, discipline, grading, course creation according to course guidelines and expectations, life/school balance, etc. I did enjoy the course about online teaching, and found it very helpful. On the other hand, I felt that the video course was not usefull, and did not properly teach concepts. In fact, at times I found it so rudamentary I wondered if a human wrote it, or if it was created by AI. Lastly, I felt that the option to reach out to a tutor was helpful, however, when I did reach out to my tutor, he offered solutions consisting of information I found nowhere else in the course or course materials. There must have been a disconnect between the information I was able to access and the information with which he was grading me, becasue most assingments were returned with grading based on information I was not aware of. Towards the end, the tutor became less helpful, as he would give adivce such as "teach this using the TEFL method", which lacks clarity, and when asked for clarity, he was too vauge to be helpful. This course needs improving from the standpoint of someone who is genuinely interested in education, but if I was someone who wanted to try something new for a year, this course was not a bad option.”

“I found the course to be very well structured and helpful in terms of learning skills to be a teacher aswell as the content to teach. I was suprised that there was no tutor for the grammar section as I felt this to be a very important part of the course. Learning online has been very different for me as there were no real discussions. The teaching online part of the course would have benefitted from watching a demo teaching session using one of the platforms. Overall though a positive process. Thank you”

“I thought it was good and learned a lot about methodology. The only negative was the grammar course. It jumped around in beginning and then got more organized. Thought it would be better from beginning to divide the grammar into clear sections from start. I would like to learn in order as teach from beginning to more advanced english.”

“I've been really happy with my TEFL certification course. The coursework is thorough and well-structured, covering everything from lesson planning frameworks like PPP to practical classroom management strategies for online platforms. What I appreciate most is how the assignments push you to actually think through real teaching scenarios rather than just memorize theory. I've found the course adds real depth to my existing skills, especially around structuring lessons for different learner levels and managing diverse classroom needs. I would recommend to anyone serious about building a solid foundation in TEFL, whether you're just starting out or already teaching and want to formalize your approach”

“The TEFL course teachings were clear comprehensive for a certificate. The one issue I had was with the tutor, Steven. He systematically failed my tests and told me to repeat his feedback back to him. He also used the exact same feedback, no matter what the test was on. Word for word. He was definitely a bot, yet the one time I used AI to double check my work before I sent it in (I followed protocol, explaining that I only did so because I didn’t understand why I kept having to retake tests) he gave a lengthy railing on how AI cannot possibly help with checking over work because it doesn’t have the technology yet. This goes against the AI tool chest that is explained at the beginning of each test. I should add that I’ve been teaching internationally for almost thirty years, I have a Masters degree and simply took the TEFL to help my students. Please either address Stephen’s job security issues (if he is a person) or change the bot’s voice from irate to helpful.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed learning with TEFL and passed my course recently. Thomas was my tutor who was so helpful and provided excellent feedback, analysis and advice on my assingments. The course was structured with excellence covering every possible scenario, aspect of TEFL. I was nervous when i started as did not know what to expect but this course was designed with assurance, guidance and constant support. I am so happy to be TEFL qualified and to have passed my course and i look forward to seeing where this takes me. An excellent experience and one i would definitley take again with Tefl Org.”

“I thought it was excellent - clear, concise, user-friendly and support there is you needed it through your assigned tutor, internal material and recommendations of external resources. I couldn't download all the course units as my device wasn't able to cope but I would have used another device to specifically do this had I realised that once the expiry date has passed, the course material is no longer availabe to review. Is there any way I can still get access to it? In particular, I had hoped to look at some of the units in the grammar course again, to help consolidate what I have learnt.”
