I purchase all of my games from Zatu and up until now no problems at all. I ordered x4 token boxes (this was the main purchase) and as an add on ordered two small packs of sleeves. After a two week wait for delivery it was clear the token box photos were completely wrong and I received something different. After a phone call I was told I would have to return them (no problem) and was sent an email with the information to print off etc. I did this during my lunch hour which was a hassle and obviously not my fault due to incorrect website. I emailed and explained that the photo still hadn't been updated and if they would possibly put a small gesture onto my account for next time. £5 would have been fine. I was told no and so instead I asked for the postage to be put onto my account for my next purchase. I was told no again because I hadn't sent the whole order back. Had I known this I would have as the sleeves were only an add on and very cheap. I explained this and was told the manager had said no. I can only assume because they have the monopoly of games selling in the UK they see fit to do address customers with contempt and arrogance. I find their behaviour, especially when it is the companies error that caused me inconvenience, rather strange and lacking in any customer service expertise. Not that I think they care.

The game was advertised as new and containing miniatures and a character sheet game pad. When it arrived, the tape from the factory was broken and replaced with "Zatu" tape, there was no shrink wrap on the item, and it was missing the miniatures and the character sheet pad.

Ordered a game that was showing as In Stock. Was given an expected delivery date of early the following week but opted to collect in store instead. Never received confirmation that it was ready to collect. Chased several times, very hard to get through as the phone is rarely answered. Told everytime that it was currently "in transit from one of our warehouses and should arrive in the next couple of days" Been over 3 weeks now and keep getting told the same story, no-one can tell me why it's been in transit for so long, they just say that it says that on the system but they can't get hold of anyone at their other warehouse or the couriers to get an update from them. Amazing that in 2024 that an online company aren't able to use communication tools to communicate with their warehouse or logistics team. Still unclear where this game is or when it will arrive, am always told that they are going to chase it with their manager.

Twice I've ordered stuff off their website, the items are in stock, with 3+ items available. Been over a month waiting for one item, being told it's getting transferred, then it's lost in the post, then it's being sent from distributor. I'm still waiting, been told I will get it next week but I was told that last week. Guy on the phone was unhelpful, annoyed I pointed out that their website is showing the items in stock when in reality they aren't and also informed me that the delivery dates are estimates and being month after ordering is completely fine.

this company will take your order for things "in stock" and advertised as "24 hour delivery", and you'll be left waiting. I'm into my third week of chasing my order and they just echo the words "we are waiting for a delivery from another warehouse and it will be with you by the end of the week". it's the third week that I've heard this, I should have read the reviews before ordering. I'll give it one more week and if my items haven't arrived, I'll request a refund (but reading reviews, even that sounds like it will be a chore). You are better off spending your money with a local business who cares.

I placed my order on 14th August, with an expected delivery date between 23rd and 30th August, as one of the games wasn't available at the time. I agreed to this delay because I needed both games before 10th September. However, my order still hasn't been delivered, even though both games have been available online for some time now. I’ve contacted the company multiple times, but my order still hasn’t been dispatched. The reason I was given is that one of the games is in a different warehouse, and they suggested I either cancel the order or pay double the shipping fee to receive it. This is absolutely unacceptable. If I had wanted to pay double shipping, I would have placed two separate orders when one of the games was initially unavailable. It’s now been over 30 days since I placed my order, and I still have no estimated dispatch date. This is beyond frustrating and incredibly poor customer service.

Worst service i have had. I have contacted multiple times now and each time i the when this 1 part of my order arives it will be shipped the problem is the when it is expected keeps being moved off from "middle of the week, to end of the week, then to begining of next week" the problem is it is your stock, your not aparently waiting for another company to send it to you, it's your 1 site to another site to ship it's been 10 days and as far as i can tell it hasn't moved a jot. I feel like this will be my last ever order with this company.

I bought a game (Windward) 3 years ago from Hungary. Then I moved to Germany. The game was incomplete. They were telling me for 2 years that they are in contact with the producer and trying to fix that. This year they decided to offer to return it for a refund. I took that option. So I've sent in back and asked them to contact me when it arrives. Like a month later I asked them if it arrived. First they said it didn't so I tried to ask DHL to find it. They couldn't help after it left Germany so I got back to Zatu. Now they told me it arrived long ago and they refunded me. Onto my long terminated hungarian account. They claim it went through but refuse to give me all the details of the transfer (so I have chance to find this transfer) and/or to prove that it was actually completed. I got a tiny cut-out that says successfully authorised. They do not say they won't help or they won't refund me, but they definitely treat it as it only my problem now. So I spent 100£ on nothing. Don't buy nothing from them. You can get something from somewhere else for your money. Nothing is not fun and this service is awful.

Ordered over £50 worth of games to get a free hat so that I walk around and advertise zatu. Got told I didn’t use a code at check out that was nowhere to be seen on the promo advert. Sent two emails back and forth and yet they still wouldn’t send a hat. I spent hundreds of pounds on games at l zatu, I will not shop here again.

I echo the other 1 star ratings on this review site. I order quite a few games and have been a customer of Zatu for a while now. Recently, they have been doing worse with their stock problem and very late dispatch. I have attached the most recent email received from them, when I raised the issue via customer service. I placed my order 26th July 2024 and have kept asking for timely updates. To this date, I still have not received the items. Now some orders can be a "back-order", meaning there is no way they could provide a guaranteed delivery date (had a problem with this too but I just let it go since it was the first time I've encountered issues). However, when I placed my order, it said it was on stock - not on back-order hence why I am expecting it to arrive at the estimated delivery date. I ordered 5 items and asked customer service if the other 4 can be sent first instead since it is not my fault they have a stock issue - but to no avail. I asked if they would offer a free delivery as compensation for the lateness of the items - again this was declined. The company just keeps saying they are awaiting stock everytime you ask for an update. If you think about it, they're holding your money (think of bank interest if it is a larger purchase) for an item you have not even received yet (for back-orders these could be months - like what the other reviewers say - 8 months or longer). I am completely disappointed with the service provided by this company, considering I have used them extensively in the past. I will never use them again for my next purchases. While they may have the cheapest price for most games, I would rather use Chaos Cards, Magic Madhouse, Total Cards, Out of Town Games, Steam Rocket etc. for my purchases - they seem to value their customers more than Zatu. TL;DR - I would absolutely avoid dealing with this company again.

To briefly summarise: - I ordered a game from Zatu Games in late December 2023, and it has only now arrived in August 2024, a full eight months late. - When I placed the order, I was informed that the item was back-ordered and that I would receive an email when it was back in stock. No estimated lead time was provided. - I emailed on 8th March to request an update and was told the estimated lead time was 2-3 months. - I emailed again on 8th June to request another update and was told that the team would "chase with procurement" and update the website with any new information. - I emailed on 19th July to inquire about the updated website information and was told that I would receive a tracking number when the item left the warehouse. - I finally received the item on 27th August. As a customer, I found the service provided throughout this process to be poor, with Zatu Games doing the bare minimum at every stage. At no point did anyone from Zatu Games reach out proactively to provide any updates. The tone of the emails I did receive was generally standoffish, and I did not feel like a valued customer. Promises made in these emails were not followed through. I submitted my comments above for review by a complaints manager, and was told that they do not see that this case was an issue. I would caution any potential customer from interacting for any needs beyond the most basic transaction, as their competence seems to fall below that of a 5 year old at a lemonade stand.

at this time if I give a 0 rating I would, it has been nearly a month since the order was placed and payment was taken, since this time even after three emails chasing for a tracking Number or even a confirmation of estimated dispatch date, i have not had any such information, all i have been provided is advises the warehouse is being chased and the probem has been raised with management. absolutley awful service to be honest!!

Order something and received it open. Reached out to zatu games and there reply was we can't do anything to it. I will never buy from them again.

Ordered a pre order game on the 29th July for release on the 1st August didn’t arrive until 30th August, after waiting two weeks, I telephoned customer service twice who seemed to read off a script word for word both times that the warehouse were sorting through deliveries and it would arrive in a couple of days, it didn’t. Missed the birthday it was bought for as it took a month to arrive. Other stockists had the game available, will reconsider using Zatu again. Big let down.

I ve received my item after one month, and they cancel one item, because apparenty they haven't it in stock ( the question is, why you sell an item that you don't have) The customer service is very poor, they reply after 2 days, and everyone says a different thing . It was my first purchase on Zatu, probably even the last one.
