“An enormous thank you to Stratford Hearing Centre for giving my 94 year old uncle his hearing back again .. as much as can be. He’s been deaf and uncommunicative for about a year with his hearing aid letting him down and living in a care home has made him isolated not being able to hear or speak to his fellow residents. I decided to take him into Stratford Hearing centre to get a second opinion and see if there was anything they could offer him to help with the problem. Right from the minute we walked through the door we were greeted with warmth and friendliness by Penny and then introduced to the most lovely lady Maariyah who looked after my uncle like a family member she was so patient with him and comforting obviously seeing his distress at not being able to hear her and after a few tests and diagnosing he didn’t have much hearing left she suggested an aid and placed a demo model in his ear .. oh my gosh how his face lit up when he heard our voices! After checking the price which was very competitive we placed an order that arrived just over a week later. Such a good choice going into the hearing centre it’s literally given him something to smile about again, even the nurses at his home have said how much easier life is for him and them now he can hear again. Best decision I ever made to take him in there, thank you to all at Stratford Hearing Centre.”

“Cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful establishment in Worcester. Kim was extremely helpful and friendly, sorted out and fixed the problem with my elderly father's hearing aid within 5 minutes of arriving in the shop!! Her colleague Michelle was just as charming and helpful. Very modern, ultra clean and friendly shop to visit. Highly recommend.”

“I have been using Stratford Hearing Centre for a while now as I do suffer from ear wax build up. Each time, the greeting and service from walking in to leaving has been first class. It is sometimes hard to hear the "hello" on the way in, but I always hear the "goodbye" on leaving! What more could you ask for!!!”

“I am in my early 70's and I had experienced a head injury a few years ago and had become worried that the impact against one ear may have caused a problem. I was experiencing increased Tinnitus and some hearing problems in certain situations. Having delayed pursuing it, as I wasn't quite sure which professional route to take, I finally went for a free hearing test at another venue, which left me reassured that there was no obvious damage but that I did indeed have a hearing problem. I was offered follow up and a choice of what to do about hearing aids but was not confident with the service offered. I am an organist, I Chair meetings and I have a very busy social life so I asked a fellow organist whom I knew wore hearing aids. He recomended the Worcester Hearing Centre and I had already found it on-line. I was given an appointment with Alex quite quickly and I have never looked back! I had not realised how the stress over this had built up and after my first session with Alex it felt like a huge weight had been lifted. He was kind, considerate, very professional and understanding. The reception and staff were welcoming in a calm, relaxed environment and I knew I was going to be looked after. It was a learning curve, initially a little challenging as the first set of aids were not right for me, but with such quiet professional support and guidance, my life has changed over the weeks and I am now confident in all situations. Alex took great care to set up my hearing aids and my use of them in different circumstances and my organ playing has been greatly enhanced. Also, I don't notice the Tinnitus any more when wearing them! Most of the time I forget I am wearing them! Don't hesitate if you think you have a problem. I can thoroughly reccomend this Centre and a huge thank you to Alex.”

“I had my ears cleaned at Stratford yesterday and I couldn't have asked for better care and service, not only did they fit me in really quickly, but they were very kind, gentle with the treatment and thorough. It was also reasonably priced for the service. Very impressed with their professionalism and approachability, I shall definitely be using them again. Highly recommended.”

“I had been functioning poorly as a teacher, missing crucial bits of student questions, functioning poorly too in conversations at home, drifting through misunderstood TV programmes and pretending to laugh at jokes with friends. “Time to move on to serious quality hearing aids” my wife said. I approached one chain offering such hearing aids at a discounted price. The next few weeks were a huge disappointment with inadequate measurement and fitting and a run of cancelled appointments which infuriated me after a large expenditure and little obvious benefit. I switched to Alex Eaves at the Worcester Hearing Centre. He offered me the same quality hearing aids but without the discount. The improvement was immediate. He also recognised that I had a serious fungal infection in both ears, one that was casually passed over by my previous audiologist. He thoroughly cleaned them and removed wax in my ears before analysing the frequencies for which my hearing was deficient. He provided pictures for my GP to prescribe a spray for the complete eradication of the infection. The process took a little while, but my hearing improved every time I saw him, with no deterioration in-between visits. Alex was flexible with appointments to suit my timetable. There was never a question of him not being able to accommodate me, no late cancellations, or prolonged waits for a new appointment. He was able to meet all my needs without bringing in some ‘specialist’, he was competent in all procedures. Had I called in completely on spec he assured me that other staff were fully trained to help. The atmosphere at the Centre was relaxed, but professional. The staff were warm and friendly throughout. Alex recognised me whenever I appeared, and was fully cognisant of where we were in my progress. His manner was always confident with a way of keeping me informed at each step with whatever he was doing. I would strongly recommend Alex and the Worcester Hearing Centre to anyone with hearing needs. A quality hearing aid is of no use without a quality team to support it.”

“Over the last two years or so , I have been to the Stratford Hearing Centre twice for ear wax removal and each time the service has been impeccable. So when I was finally persuaded (reluctantly! ) by my wife that my hearing was getting worse ,she made an appointment for me again at Stratford. Thank goodness she did! I saw Adam who has proved to be an absolute gem. He took me through the very comprehensive testing process , explaining everything as we went along and cheerfully answering all my stupid questions. From initial testing to fitting my hearing aids and ensuring everything was as it should be through (so far ) three further follow up sessions Adam has been a wonderful guide . He is highly professional , patient and , importantly , friendly and personable. These are priceless qualities when dealing with someone like me who initially found it very difficult to admit to any hearing loss at all!! I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the Stratford Centre to anyone with a hearing problem. Thankyou Adam . I am immensely grateful for your help.”

“My experience at Stratford was of a thoroughly professional yet friendly and personal service. Maariyah was excellent, explaining what was happening at every step of the process in progressing from initial assessment through delivery, fitting and evaluation period. I cannot fault the service I received; this is a "Premiership" outfit and Maariyah is a star player. “Adam was extremely friendly and efficient. He diagnosed my hearing problems and explained the hearing aids I needed. In fact everything was explained step by step and the aftercare was excellent. I feel that the ‘package’ I bought was well worth the money. The receptionists are friendly and efficient, and I enjoy the bowls of sweets provided!”

“I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Tom and the team at Worcester Hearing Centre for helping me with my new Hearing Aids. They are incredible, there's so much more depth and clarity in the sound, it has improved my overall quality of life! (Probably one of the best purchases I've ever made!!) As a profoundly deaf person, I have been attending there for the past 18 years, and I always know I'm in good hands. The level of detail, knowledge and care is absolutely exceptional. Even after receiving my new hearing aids - they would check in and keep close contact to ensure I'm getting on well with them. I can't praise them enough. Highly recommended.”
