“I bought a waxed jacket from W&H. Although the service is good (got what I ordered in planed lead time), and the product seems of good quality, there are some details which make the jaket not as good as it could be : - no internal pocket where to put a wallet (which could be closed by a zip). the "large" internal pocket is actually at the bottom of the jacket and seems more like a kangaroo pocket, where I would not put my belongings (risk of loosing the wallet !) - cuffs ont he sleeves are way to high and too tight. this creates a filling that size is not right as you get constrainsted on the shoulders , since the sleeves can't be deployed to their max length. - size correspondance between EU and UK is not 100% respected. I measured an old jacket which led me to order a 3xl size, but at the end, the jacket is at the low limit of a "does not fit", whereas the previous one was perfect. I believe therefore there is room for improvement for W&H.”

“Got full set up but throat lash missing from jacket. Called number on invoice several times, left messages but no response, calls keep going to voicemail, suit is decent quantity, waist coat is a little short and so is plus 2s compared to others I have had from elsewhere but all in all not bad for off the peg stuff.”

“Nice felt cap but arrived dented. The box was in tact, so must have been dented before packing. A bit of steaming and reforming sorted it out. Otherwise, good price and swift delivery.”

“I bought the Men’s Wax Diamond Quilted Lincoln Gilet. The service was good. My complaint is with the quality of the zipper, it feels cheap and the action is rough. I applied some vaseline to try and smooth the action of the zip but is hasn't really helped. An otherwise very good product let down by a small cost saving in manufacturing”

“Though well made in terms of quality the designer of this miniture dachshund dog coat needs to go back to the drawing board. Its too long yet too tight around the front meaning you have to attach the velcro at front at the very end in order to ensure my dog has enough space to move. This means the velcro has a habit of coming undone. I know dachshunds are known as sausage dogs however this jacket is literallhy designed for a sausage. Something very long and quite thin. It's a shame as otherwise its a well made coat. My reason for not sending back was it wasn't until a couple of walks in muddy fields did I come to realise the poor design by which time i figured it was too late to send back!”

“I ordered a wax cape coat from Walker and Hawkes a couple weeks ago and when it arrived it fit beautifully, looked fantastic and was of a great material however the product was faulty due to manufacturing issues with the sleeve. When I reached out, via their email, to solve the issue, I didn’t receive a response. I ended up having to call the company, only to discover that my email had been delivered to a spam/junk folder which nobody checked. Fantastic coat, but awful customer services.”

“The delivery time to Norway was really good. I ordered one shirt in 3xl and a different one in 4 xl. The 3xl was too small and the 4 xl was almost to large. This was two different brands but still a bit disapointed with the size diffrences”

“Nice Jacket but after wearing it out I realised it was too small. I would order bigger if I was to order again the size guid was a bit of for me. I’ve given it to a slimmer friend”

“I ordered two pair of their moleskin trousers of the same size, one was 2.5 inches more than the other on the waistband. I return the one that did not fit with a note, W and H did not explain which one was the correct size. There quality control must be a bit hit and miss, a pity the trousers are not at all bad.”

“Was not too happy I orderd 2 hats,One was branded with Walker & Hawkes the other was unbranded and a different design. I just do not understand. Its like me ordering a Moschino garment with no Moschino branding on it, I just would not of orderd it.So a bit disappointed a would not order hear again.As I am looking for a certain quality and trust from a brand.”

“The item purchased was supposed to have been delivered 4 days ago. However, because of a delivery issue, not knowing if the item will be delivered before Christmas, we're unable to verify the fit and quality of the item in question!”
