“No delivery after over a week from Royal Mail but W & H offered to send replacement as soon as I raised the query, so very happy with the service. Item itself was good value.”

“A certain other waxed cotton jacket and hat manufacturer is trading on its name. Walker and Hawkes are trading on their quality. Free (in the UK mainland) and extremely prompt delivery are a big factor for me; Once I've made a decision I'm impatient to get my goodies!”

“I used walker & hawkers waterproofer and conditioner on my sodewinder Australian leather hat. The results were truly amazing, I had worn my hat for a long time and last week had been out in a heavy rainstorm in it. It had not faired to well, but after two treatments of the waterproofer and conditioner it was like new. I cannot recommend this product highly enough”

“I purchased 4 metres of your Wax 100% Cotton Canvas Fabric Cloth Soft Finish Waxed Waterproof Cloth to make my own jacket. The fabric is beautiful - soft, supple and very easy to sew with. I only needed to use 2 metres of it because it is so wide at 150cm, so my coat was a true bargain! Thank you.”

“A disappointing experience. I was interested in purchasing a Men's hunting gilet but was unsure of the size I needed. Vik was quick to respond with a suggestion. I went ahead and purchased the recommended size. It arrived shortly in Adelaide, Australia, but was way too small. I ended up posting it back (at my own expense). Overall I have lost about $60 in postage fees (as the postage is non-refundable) and still had no gilet to wear. I do not think I'll be purchasing from Walker and Hawkes again as their refund policy (for international buyers) does not provide free exchange or any type of postage refund.”

“I placed my order on the 28th of November - today is the 19th of December and I still haven't received my item after three weeks. I did telephone customer services at W&H. The person I spoke to refused to take responsibility and blamed the post office between sniffing loudly and talking in an incomprehensible mumble. He offered no compensation or any kind of goodwill. Having looked at some reviews for W&H I notice that many were written within the last two weeks, in other words people are in fact receiving items. So where is mine? The service from W&H has been extremely disappointing and frustrating.”
