“The wax jacket is very good quality but would be improved greatly by having a breast level internal pocket deep enough to take a long wallet or diary and fitted with a button,zip or velcro closure to prevent the contents from falling out.”

“Purchased Derby Tweed, Jacket XL, winston waistcoal XL, Drby breaks plus 2 size 40.All dark sage Quality is excellent. I am 6Ft 1, 48 Reg, 34 to 36 waist. Jacket is full cut,Size was perfect . I took to tailor to take in sides of jacket, and waist slightly on Breeks,Seat was perfect. ordered breaks 2 sizes larger as suggested, glad i did, 38 may have been borderline. Waistcoat was perfect. My taylor had no problem with alterations, Much easier than playing the return for new size game. Just ordered a complete set for my eldest son. You will be very pleased, delivery was excellent. OH large flat cap was perfect as well, ordered the Dainton”

“Needed to purchase a womens Tweed Gilet for a birthday gift in the US. The experience with Walker and Hawkes was absolutely hassle free and seamless from start to finish. Gilet arrived in super quick time and tracked all the way and feedback is that the Gilet is of great quality and true to the size chart on the website. Perfect.”

“I am absolutely delighted with my new jacket. As soon as it arrived, there was torrential rain. I cycled out with my jacket fresh out of the packaging. Not ONE DROP OF WATER ON MY BODY. Unbelievable. Perfection. The build quality is excellent, the cut and size fit me perfectly. The colour is beautiful. The zip is a bit plasticky, but high quality nonetheless. Really nothing to envy to ‘the other brand’. If I had to point out a weak point, it's that the hood is quite small--but nothing that would bother a Patagonian billy goat like me, who shows his bare head to the elements. Thank you mr. Walker; thank you mr. Hawkes. You're my favourite brand now. AVE”

“Great value, fit is excellent, only small criticism is the bottom of the zip was very difficult to get undone but baseline sorted it quickly. Brought this jacket to replace a 20 year old wax and very happy I chose this Walker & Hawkes one.”
