“Lovely contents but box was damaged and the note saying it was from me must have fallen out as my friend didn’t know who had sent it. Very disappointing.”

“I ordered a TreatBox for a friend's birthday in the UK. I'm just disappointed that I made my order way earlier than her birthday but was assured by the information provided that my order would be delivered closer to the date I asked. Yet they delivered it within a day or two. It arrived a week before her birthday and since it was a surprise, my friend opened it (she even missed the sticker that was supposed to say "Do not open until..."). I spent nearly €60 on this surprise and I'm extremely bummed that they failed their own promise. I don't think I'll ever repeat the experience, even though my friend was extremely pleased with the surprise and its contents. Since she's happy, I'm only taking one star off. Otherwise, I'd give it a two-star rating.”

I have looked into your order and can see that it was held back accordingly and dispatched within a good timeframe. That said, it does look like Royal mail delivered the order super efficiently within one working day which meant it arrived a lot sooner than anticipated. “This was bought as a gift for a friend so i can't comment on the items inside (as much as i tried to peek!) but the delivery was speedy and communications great! Also my additional requests were met - so thank you for that! I'm sure the birthday girl is going to love her treat box!”

“Easy to choose items online. Arrived in time. Well presented. Only issue was that the box was slightly damaged and I got melts instead of the popcorn I ordered.”

“Great product and really well priced... My only criticism is that I bought it as a birthday present and put the date on the box (it says they will be dispatched near the birthday date) but it was sent immediately, without a do not open sticker so the recipient opened it way before her birthday, ruining the treat a little.”

“The quality of the gifts inside the Birthday Advent box is excellent and my friend was delighted with the gifts and the idea. Everything is beautifully packaged as well, which adds to the birthday joy. I certainly feel I got good value for money on the contents. The only downside of the whole shopping experience was Royal Mail's inability to deliver the gift on time. To be honest I would give them 0 stars! They failed to follow the instructions given and after contacting them 3 times and giving specific redirection details my friend ended up having to collect the box herself, 3 days after the original arrival date. This is certainly no reflection on TreatBox who fulfilled their part of the ordering and dispatching system to the highest standard.”

“I ordered a 10 item gift box as a back to school treat for my daughter, it arrived very quickly and it was packaged so lovely, a real treat. As my daughter opened it I noticed it only contained 9 items, I emailed TreatBox straight away, the next day I received a apologetic response asking for photos of the packaging and items. 2 days later the missing item was posted to me and my daughter was very pleased. A fantastic company, I will definitely use again.”

“All items were lovely and my sister seemed super happy with it as a get well gift. However, the box wasn’t the most appealing to open, I expected something bigger so you could see all items clearly…anyway, the bracelet was in such small packaging and was the same colour as the tissue paper so she hadn’t seen it in the box…luckily I asked what she thought of it and we managed to dig it out of the bin before bin day!! Overall, love the items, just wasn’t impressed with the packaging.”

“Really lovely gift for my niece passing her exams- my only disappointment was there was hardly any pink cardboard confetti within the box, it looked really sparse and definitely not the same as in all the pictures :-(”

We are sorry for the disappointment you receive regarding the shred in the gift box. We do mention on the product listings that the shred amount may vary. This will be due to the size of the products so as to not over pack things. Sometimes we don't use shred at all especially if the items protect each other.
