“Ordered a lovely BYO box of treats for my sister's 40th recently, all beautifully packaged in a lovely printed birthday box. I'd included a wide range of gifts that I knew my sister would love! I actually had it delivered to me first so I could add a couple of extra things (vegan choc, a very specific Baked By Steph biscuit plus a voucher for afternoon tea). My sister was thrilled with it all :-). Thanks Treatbox.”

“Ordered an aluminium photo of my brothers for my Mum to keep next to her whilst in pallative care. The item arrived promptly and was beautifully packaged. We laughed when the pink packaging went everywhere with the fan blowing, made Mum laugh which was prescious. Mum cried when she saw her gift. It means she can hold it as many times as she wishes, not something you can do with an actiual photo. Not soething I hade seen before and meant the world to my Mum. Thank you so much.”

“Multiple difficulties and issues with the website emptying my basket, not sending a text and then reverting my address to a different one. Staff unable to help and then ignored my email- very rude and unhelpful, completely ignored when I raised these difficulties.”

“The subscription box was a week or more late, apparently because one valuable item was held up in customs. I wonder what item that was when I opened the box. The single pencil? The tiny notepad? The sample sizes of tasteless jam and honey - the type you get for free in cafes and restaurants? The tacky cheap plastic mini lunch bag that was the sort you would get in a pound store? Basically, it was rubbish. The box itself was crushed. There was no apology inside to say sorry about the delay. No booklet explaining what was inside. No pretty packaging. Some (most) of the items went straight in the bin. It was probably worth a quarter of what I paid for it. I am so relieved I tried it out myself first, because I was going to arrange a monthly subscription as a gift for someone. Absolutely not doing that now. It is such a pity because this box used to be beautiful. I bought a long subscription for a friend about five years ago and it used to be so beautiful - definitely worth every penny back then, and the feel good highlight of her month. I would have been so embarrassed if I had unwittingly sent this cheap rubbish to her unseen. Never again.”
