“I purchased a Makita leaf vacuum/blower from Tool store on line and it was by far the cheapest I could see anywhere. Purchasing was simplicity by any means and the delivery time was amazing. After ordering at the weekend we were given a delivery date of Tuesday of the very next week and it arrived bang on time. I would use Toolstore in the future and would recommend them without doubt.”

“Great choice of tools and accessories, all at great prices. Spent an hour browsing then filled my basket with goods in excess of £55 expecting free delivery as advertised. Reached the final checkout stage to find a £10.49+VAT addition for delivery? On further investigation it appears free delivery from ToolStore is only possible if you live in England or Wales. My home is 260 miles north of the Wigan store in Argyll and 100 miles closer than Penzance in Cornwall, England. I did place my order and our local DPD / DHL driver John delivered my parcel, well packaged, a few days later. I will not be placing any furthers orders with ToolStore until the misleading free "UK" delivery is removed, or, includes postcodes north of the border.”

Good morning Gary, Thank you for your review. We sincerely apologise that you found our delivery options to be unclear. We strive to make our delivery charges as transparent as possible on our website, both through a dedicated delivery information page and during the checkout process before you finalize your order. Unfortunately, we are unable to list every postcode on our main page due to the extensive number of exceptions. To address this, we use an asterisk next to the 'Free UK delivery' button at the top of our website to indicate that specific criteria apply. We use DPD as our sole courier, and their service charges are determined by postcode. Your postcode, specifically, is classified as a Highlands area, which incurs a premium charge from DPD. Their carriage criteria are based on factors such as distance, weight, and value. We do not profit from these carriage charges, and due to our competitive pricing and tight margins, we are unable to absorb these specific costs without incurring losses. We are always looking at alternative courier options, but for now and due to the cost of the products we sell, the traceability and insurance we receive from DPD is second to none.
