“It has been a week and a half and I am still not in posession of my saw. Toolstore say DPD have lost it, but this is not my issue. It should be replaced immediately whilst they sort the problem out. I have over £500 tied up in a product that has never been delivered. It was required for a job this weekend. That has now gone and I have lost out. I heard nothing for a week, until I emailed to say I hadn't received it. They were quick to explain it was lost. Now I have requested they send me a new one, they have stopped resdponding (been waiting on an answer since Friday). Not at all impressed with this company. It is now Monday 16.30 and I presume the business will be closed, so I won't be getting an answer today.”

Regarding the timeline of our communication, we received your first message on Thursday evening and our team responded on Friday. As we do not operate over weekends, there was a brief pause in communication during that time. Our team raised this issue with DPD immediately and advised you of the necessary investigation timeframe. We always strive to provide the best solution for our customers, however, resolutions can sometimes be delayed by a few days while we allow DPD to investigate, as items are occasionally recovered and delivered during this process. To get this resolved for you and avoid further delay, we sent this on a Saturday AM service, which tracking confirms has now been successfully delivered. “The first time I've used ToolStore and was pretty impressed at how quickly my item was delivered. And the price was competitive too. I didn't get an order confirmation email for some reason, which bothered me a little as it's the first time using this company, but I just trusted the process. I did then receive an email a day or two later to say my item was with DHL.”
