“Quick and efficient service. Good quality herbal teas purchased in April 2024. Most of the teas packaged had long best before dates, like a year, but the rose bud tea which was bought as a gift for someone in May only had bbdate to August (which might seem short to the receiver of the gift), and a request for exchange was not possible.”
“I have now had a chance to sample a few cups of this tea. I enjoy Darjeeling and have tried the Margaret Hope Second Flush in other places. I find this particular tea enjoyable, but there is quite a strong nutty flavour and it does taste a little bitter. That said, still an enjoyable tea and we all have a different take on flavours.”
“So far so good. Packaging is plastic free and made of paper. So my whole cupboard smells of those herbs. Does that mean my herbals are loosing their fragrance over time, and will my chamomille smell like lavander if stored in the same place? Not sure. Also I was expecting the lemon balm to be more lemony so to cover the valerian root a bit more. Lavander and chamomille very good.
No side effects with any of those, even so that is very subjective, I guess.”
“Prompt delivery and good products. I won't say I have loved all their products as I have often bought the sample packs and so to date tried over 25 different teas all have arrived in good condition and those I have not enjoyed have purely been down to personal taste. The standard order for decaff Kenyan black works a treat.”
“Lovely tea, but very expensive. It was the only decaf loose leaf tea I could find, and sadly I can't afford it all the time but good as a special treat. I wish plastic free shopping didn't have to be so prohibitively expensive. Delivery and online shopping experience very good.”
“I ordered two different types of tea.
One was a Breakfast Tea which was lovely and I recommend it as a really nice cuppa and definitely worth a try and I give it a 9/10
However the one I recommend the most is the “Queens Tea” it is absolutely delicious and very more ish.. too !
Every time I take a sip I can’t put my cup down
without wanting to take another sip again.
It is a mixture of black tea with a gentle hint of earl grey.
Ordinarily I would not drink Earl Grey tea as it’s not a taste that I have liked before.
However I really must say that it really is a fantastic tea and I will be ordering more when it runs out.
I’m not surprised the Queen put her name to this one.

“Lovely company with fine choices of tea. Had to slap myself for reflexive grumble about delivery time... but tea comes from China right! No plastic in the box, individually paper wrapped tea, really nice touch. I'd like to know a bit more about provenance of the tea, I'd like assurance around less pesticide and organic options if possible. Really enjoyed the extra info about the actual tea, rating taste and harvest date etc. Would definitely recommend and the 25gm taste options are good, remember it's a pinch of leaves you can actually rehydrate and re-brew all day to reduce waste and gain taste.
