“Our local tea agent Braithwaite's in Dundee closed after over 100 years of selling. What to do? After searching on line The Loose Tea Company appeared to be what I was looking for. Having ordered Nettle and Chai Assam~Masala Chai.
Having now had both, I can state I am very happy with my choice. The nettle is of good quality and the taste is as good as I am used to. The Chai is slightly different to that which I have been purchasing for years, however it has a lovely taste.
Both came well packaged and in recyclable tea packets. Delivery was as stated and there were no issues. Happy to recommend.

“Tea is perfect..perfect in taste that is..price is over 50 times what we paid for loose tea in the early 1970's..most groceries have increased 15 to 20 times in 55 years..only house prices have increased more with inflation to this..I'd like to buy again..I thought I was getting at least double 25 Grams for 4 pounds..a quarter of tea in 1970 was 112 Grams..I need about 100 Grams each purchase..that's over £16..phew..that's a luxury expense..10 pounds maximum for 100 Grams plus postage..update..I apologise..I have since realised I bought a SAMPLE by mistake..oops..I could buy 100 Grams for £5.95..now that's a great price..the sample is on me..I didn't understand first time..this is great value..10/10”
