“The rug was nice but very thin. It was also too small for what we wanted though when we tried to send it back and choose an alternate, the post office said it was too big though The Rugs state too small to collect. Disappointed as we wanted to change it. It is still in the packaging unused.”

Hi Jane, Thank you for your review. Normally, rugs up to 120cm are being sent from the post offices and this is the standard process. We have not encountered any problem with this till now. Unfortunately, we could not see the message that you mentioned in your review. If you could not send the product via the post office, we would love to help you with arranging a collection. “The packaging of the rug wad really good but I have placed this rug in my hallway on top of the carpet to protect it . It doesn't stay in place at all, just bunches up .”

“Rug arrived within a couple of days of ordering. On unpacking found dark marks and quality inferior to what I expected. The black marks were easy to remove with damp cloth. The only reason I didn’t return item is that its use is for a dog area and easy to keep clean. I was just a bit disappointed with the quality but as it was reasonably priced I’m happy to keep it for the summer months before I replace it.”

“I did not receive my rug, I only received the rug grip. Customer services were very efficient and gave me a full refund for the rug and 15% refund for the rug grip.”

“Rug arrived later than expected and whilst the rug was nice it was a very different colour to what was shown on the website so has to be returned unfortunately”

“I feel like this rug looks dirty when it’s not it’s the 2 colours mixed together that gives it a surly look witch am not to happy with for a £100 rug ! It just didn’t wow me”

“Rug size is perfect, but quite thin rugs so easy make it fold. I was expected more quantity in term of price if i compare to outside market.”

“The rug itself is great - exactly as described. Unfortunately let down by an ENORMOUS amount of unnecessary single-use plastic packaging and tape. This is particularly bad given the rug was supposed to be an eco-friendly option, being made of recycled materials. This alone has put us off buying anything else from this company.”

“The rug was very see through looked more cream than white. When I asked to return they offered me a discount to keep the rug to save hassle of returning. I returned the rug so waiting on my refund.”

“The rug was too thin and the colour was washed out. But, I guess the washed-out look was due to the type of carpet I got. However, upon mentioning this to the company, I was pleasantly surprised by the quick response I received based on my feedback which is rare for a company. This is much appreciated.”

“EDIT: After 3 weeks, failed attempts to deliver, several emails back and forth and a carpet lost in transit and then re-ordered, I have finally received my carpet and it is indeed beautiful. I have to say The Rugs customer service was very responsive to my emails and did sort the issue in the end. I have given 3 stars as their courier service is very unreliable but it is not a reflection on the quality of the carpet which is 5 stars. Patience is required when ordering and I am happy to have received the carpet in the end :). It is a shame that this company doesn't sort out their dispatch and courier problems. I have now been waiting 12 days for my rug and despite receiving emails that it is on its way, it seems to have been lost. I have now asked for a replacement to be sent but nothing has been confirmed yet. I am sure the rug will be lovely if I ever get it!! Hoping to get a replacement as I am sure a refund is going to be a challenge from this company :(”
