Unfortunately the 1.2 m long softwood sleepers were undersized by 10mm making it very difficult to align with other 2.4 metre sleepers purchased. They were also poorly cut making them impossible to use without recutting if you wanted to achieve a neat 90 degree angle. I would not recommend buying this product length again.

Item arrived, but wasn’t what was depicted in the photographs. I think the photos on the adverts should be changed. I realise that sometimes things are not what you expect but i was very disappointed with the replies I got with no opportunity to return the item as I was told I knew what I was buying.

This company sold me fence posts, a number of which were split far more than could reasonably be expected, even with natural wood products. They were far and away the worst posts I have ever bought and were unsuitable for use. Sure Green would not take any responsibility for them, insisting they were as described. They would not replace the posts or offer any other resolution. When I emailed back saying how unhappy I was with this outcome, they ignored this email. Do not trust or buy from this company!

To address your comments regarding a lack of reply to your last email, this was sent following a telephone conversation with our team and contained no questions or information requests for us to reply to. You had stated you were unhappy and that you would be leaving the review as above. We do apologise that you are unhappy with your posts, however, on review of the images provided we could see no fault with these posts that would prevent proper use. Cracks in tanalised timber are a normal characteristic to be expected, and as explained in our initial email correspondence, you will notice these open and close depending on the weather; We do make this clear on our website before you place your order by stating "Machine round posts may contain splits and cracks. This is natural for a machine rounded product and will not affect the performance on the post. Please contact our customer care team if you have any concerns". I'd give 5 stars if my missing screws turned up. Checked order on arrival, screw pack missing, informed driver, he said that was everything - wouldn't check the van, just wanted to get away. Still waiting to hear.

I am sorry to hear you still have not located your ordered screws, I can see your order was showing fully delivered just 2 days after ordering, and the screws should have been wrapped to the ends of the timber. Ordered split bamboo screening for the garden. The bamboo is of really poor quality with stands and damaged sections thought. The product looked tatty from day one and was not something I was willing to fit. Having contracted customer services I was offered 10% off which I found very poor. I shan't be using the product and unfortunately this will be goin to the tip

Ordered materials online but I was never told some of the order was out of stock until I called two weeks later. It took another 3 weeks for the items to come in then when they put my order together something else had gone out of stock. No communication from the company unless I chased them. Not the first time this has happened. Terrible service for a trade customer.

A wouldn’t recommend using this company if you are in a slight rush for any products. I ordered 20 round posts a certain size. They came within the 5 days but the size was wrong and I also received only 5 the next 15 came the next day the wrong size, I got in contact and they said they would send out a new 20, a week on and I have only received 9, so two weeks after my order and I am still missing 11 posts, and the wrong size posts haven’t been picked up yet, absolutely shocking!

Delivered on the wrong day at the wrong time at the wrong address. This is despite them calling me the day before to check the delivery details and them being all wrong they did it wrong regardless. Decent quality stuff and a helpful driver on his last day.

Do not order with this company. We spent 900 on some sleepers and paid an extra £120 for delivery. We knew delivery had to have 2 people our end and my husband called them to explain it would just be 1 person (wife) at home. They said not to worry they would sort it. Delivery turned up and the delivery driver knew nothing about this conversation. Delivery had to be taken away. We was then called to arrange redelivery and they was asking for another £120 delivery fee through no fault of our own. Safe to say we have asked for refund and will never order from these again. No delivery fee refunded and £120 lost through no fault of our own!!! Very poor customer services.

Repeated emails saying my order is out for delivery and ensure 2 people are available to help unload. we are now on the 5th occasion that they have informed me of the above and nothing has arrived. I certainly won't be using them again and advise others not to unless you are happy to wait in all day for no reason. Still waiting on my order with no update on when it will actually arrive

12.5% of 3 x 3 oak posts had damaged end with 10" Band saw cut up the middle. The driver took a picture of the delivery tied to a pallet which did not show the end with the fault. If you buy from this company make the driver wait while you unpack and photograph every item with him in the picture so they believe you.

Massive variation in colour between my sleepers. I’ve bought sleepers before and realise they are not uniform but some are really dark and others very light. Suregreen customer services saying this is normal. It’s not

My order never arrived and as all emails seem to be non reply I have to leave a bad review. We waited in to receive the delivery when it was supposed to come but it never showed. Then I got an email saying the delivery had been refused. With non reply email addresses I’m finding telling people there’s been a mistake very frustrating.

Let down I Waited all day No one turned up with the delivery I lost one a day of work and money I had to argue with them to get the money back

No mention of exorbitant delivery fees until the point of purchase, unreasonable demands for fork lift on delivery, don’t bother to use the query service as no answer and when you complain they can’t find your queries. Need I say more never had such pitiful service. My advice buy somewhere else where they provide a service I have. Bob Howlett

Hi Robert, As per our email correspondence directly; Although I do sympathise with your position, and as stated by my colleagues, you have every right to cancel your order, the matter of the cost to return the goods to us from the courier is something you would be liable for. This would be deducted from your refund once the goods are returned and checked back in to our warehouse. We do make it clear on our website, that 2 people are required to offload pallet orders of timber and concrete. This is shown on the item page, on the Delivery Information page and also on your dispatch notification email. We are also open 7 days a week to answer any queries you may have by phone, chat or email. I am sorry you are unhappy with this outcome, and do understand your frustration, however with most cancellations after dispatch, the return courier costs would apply as in line with distance selling regulation, and the terms and conditions you agreed to on placing your online order. Order not delivered over a year has past and Suregreen say due to legal reasons they cant now send me my goods (wooden posts and chicken wire) that were not in stock when they took payment for the order. 15 months ago. Now pursuing through small claims court.
