Posts are rough cast on one side, some damage to posts, took almost two weeks to arrive, I thought it was free postage over £100, was charged £75

I have no problem at all with Suregreen. BUT you need to think carefully about your delivery service. i.e using Evri. At the time of writing this, i have been waiting nearly a month for my fencing. The first consignment was apparently damaged after being in their delivery hub for a week. They are now saying that they tried unsuccessfully to deliver my second parcel today ... this is rubbish, not only was i home all day but was actually outside so would have been well aware of any deliveries. The internet is full of complaints about them claiming to have 'tried to deliver'. I cannot wait much longer; if they try to pull this stunt again tomorrow i'd like to cancel my order and get a refund.

I had a good service from Surgreen and would have given it 5 stars, however, the delivery company of DHL has let them down the products were picked up on the 18th October, but did not arrive until the 24th October.

Ordered four round fence posts and four half round fence rails, all delivered on time. The post were perfect. However was disappointed with the rails. One was warped so much we could not use it and another requires extensive repairs to a split along the edge had to be glued and screwed before it was possible to use a a cross rail. Had to purchase another from a local merchant to finish the job so only 50/50 I am affraid

Prices highly competitive although by the time you factor in delivery the margin is no so attractive (but still better buying from here). They contract out the delivery and Palletline appear no the brightest having sideloaded 2.4m sleepers into a truck with 2.3m width exit and unable to offload with a trolley cart they bring. At point of order no mention of need for two people at home to help driver. This information appears after payment. Then Palletline agree afternoon then turn up at 11am! The goods are fine. Just logistics need improvement and they'd be outstanding.

We add into our listings for all the sleepers that 2 people are required for the offload as the courier is unable to unload this from the tail lift due to the size of the sleepers. Well all I can say is I went online found a product good price brown sleepers softwood 20 for 389 or something . placed order couldn’t work out when the delivery would be went on the chat box on the website got told my delivery should be next Monday.Monday came no delivery on the Wednesday. I went back on the chat box and got told your order was 3 to 7 days it’s not seven days yet I don’t know who told you it would be Monday so okay I waited Friday. Come no order. that with a seven day. Went back on the chat box your order should be delivered Sunday that makes it nine days so much for a 3 to 7 day order. Sunday comes delivery driver very nice man deliver them with Care and apologised when I told him this was a nine day delivery, so don’t ever think of getting rid of your delivery driver because he couldn’t say enough for the company.so I unpacked my 20 sleepers and found one had a massive chainsaw cut the 19th of them were good enough for what I wanted so pay for 20 usable sleepers and only be able to use 19 for A grade sleepers, so I would say I certainly wouldn’t use this company again one I didn’t get the correct delivery date 3to7 days .2, I didn’t get the correct number of usable items.so thank you for giving me the time and the facility to Air my views. To all your foreseeable customers.

We do advise a 3 to 7 working day estimate for deliveries of this nature to be made. On review of your order notes, I can see you made contact within 48 hours of your order being placed, and that the courier booked you in and delivered your goods within 5 working days of you ordering. I can't see any contact from you to advise you were unhappy with this process, and am sorry to only hear about this through your review. There is a very good reason for only awarding three stars today. Unfortunately, Suregreen, whilst there is absolutely nothing wrong with their product, sadly use one of the countries worst ever couriers, EVRi. This company, originally known as Hermes, has gone through a very expensive re-branding exercise, unfortunately the delivery service they operate is still the disaster, dodgy, untrustworthy one in place from when they were Hermes. This is NOT the first time I have lost goods in transit with the company, try as you might the goods are reported to be sitting at one of their depots, awaiting delivery and there it stays. I recently tracked a delivery from Suregreen via EVRi and it still sits in a warehouse somewhere, absolutely no reason why it should. All paid for and correctly addressed, so what’s the problem EVRI ? I know but am NOT allowed to say on here other than I think your staff do quite well out of it ! Suregreen have been marvellous and resent ( at extra cost to them) via a reputable company DHL, my order, it arrived yesterday as promised, tracked all the way. As a small family run business Suregreen, you cannot sustain losses like this as I guess I am not the only complainant ? Mistakes have to be paid for and Suregreen have lost out all round. As I said, this is not the first time I have ‘strangely’ lost a parcel via Hermes, sorry, EVRi. You cannot get hold of EVRI, you cannot ask questions, you cannot call them, I have tried to register with them, it wouldn’t allow me to. For your own benefit Suregreen, use another company, I’m simply trying to help here and prevent you from getting ripped off which is exactly what is happening !! The young lady I spoke with a couple of times at Suregreen was great and kept apologising for the delay. There was no need as it was simply down to EVRi to deliver this very simple order, so why haven’t you, once again ?

I ordered some timber from Suregreen as their prices were very competitive. However, they seemed to have some problems with delivery and as a consequence the timber did not arrive as quoted. This may have been a one-off situation. But their prices are good.

Good pricing, quick delivery, but wood not suitable for structural purposes. Ordered, amongst other items 4 no. 100x50x3.6m timber sections which I am using to build a log store. The timbers are not structural graded (C16/C24) and it shows. One of them is riddled with knots and in one place you can see daylight through the middle of the timber. I have managed to use for other areas of the job, but if this timber was used as a form of structural support it would surely fail. The timbers were not specified as graded hence probably why the wood was a little more affordable. Probably fine for fencing/ground work.

Ordered three sleepers, which needed stacking. One arrived substantially bowed. When I complained I was told (rightly) that the website did not do replacements and stated that sleepers might bow. Just be warned if ordering: the amount of distortion in my case ruined the project I was envisaging. Partly my fault, but a clearer warning and better product would have helped

Would have liked to have given 5 stars. But there were issues over delivery, and the initial response from customer services was very poor, pretty much accusing me of lieing when I initially reported that it hadn't been delivered. The parcels got to me a couple of days later. The delivery guy himself explainedvery issue, and I did get an apology... but was disappointed with what I perceived as a 'lack' of customer service. No issues with the products.

Competitive pricing, easy ordering process and prompt delivery. I have raised a query though as screws and screw bit from my order either weren't delivered or pinched off my drive after delivery. Asked if their carrier could confirm these were delivered but not heard anything back, hence the missing stars.

Product was good. I might be mistaken but it seems that only after ordering was I made aware that I would need 2 people available on the day of delivery to help the delivery drivers unload. They do use a courier rather than deliver themselves, though, but was still inconvenient having to get someone to come around to help me unload it when there were two perfectly able people (1 did help) in the the truck. I questioned the need for 2 people to be available and the answer I got wasn’t what I was looking for. It was only a few sleepers so it was fine for me but be aware you might need to do the lifting yourself - I know not everyone has their health.
