I made a purchase on 12th August (UK164227) and received an order confirmation. Since then - it is now 28th Aug I have not received a delivery confirmation nor received the goods, nor received an update on why they have not been dispatched. This is very poor customer service

I have no way of rating the product, I have never received it. It appears to be sitting in Memphis TN at the FedEx hub. It does not appear it will ever arrive. You collected my money the day you shipped it. If I had been aware that the product would ship from Germany I never would have ordered it, as I needed to for a recent trekking trip. What help can you offer now?

The gloves and socks were not waterproof. They also took 2 days to dry. Bad purchase.

I suffer from Venus stasis, a condition of varicose veins in which blood pools in the lower extremities without returning to the heart, thereby inducing clots and ulcer wounds which can take months to heal. Treatment involves four layer compression wraps changed weekly which must be kept dry at all times, including during bathing and bad weather. I use cast-and -bandage-protectors to keep my legs dry while showering (coincidentally branded SealTight) but they are cumbersome and ineffective while swimming, thus preventing my favorite summertime activities. And new ulcers appear with confounding irregularity, sometimes opening up within months of old ones being healed. Other times I might go 18 months without one. But they always come back. I thought SealSkinz was the answer to my prayer! They were guaranteed waterproof with no caveats or disclaimers. Nothing said I couldn’t shower or swim in them. I figured they’d tell me if that could be a problem. I was so glad the technology had advanced so far that the chance of leaking had been overcome! My order arrived promptly, the day after my latest leg wrap and the day before we were to leave to visit our son in NY. He loves Coney Island and was sad we couldn’t go there to the beach. Aha, I thought, now with my new SealSkinz I WILL be able to go swimming. But just to make sure, I tried them out in the shower. I wore both though only my right leg had a wrap. They seemed ok at first but by the time I finished they were both full of water. I mean FULL! Way more than had ever leaked into a bandage protector. It was too late to go back to the wound clinic to be rewrapped and I couldn’t do it myself and I was leaving first thing in the morning. So I dried it out the best I could and put up with a damp, draining, irritated wound all weekend. When I went back to the wound clinic upon my return, the doctor gave me one of those looks and said, we both knew it wouldn’t work, didn’t we? Well, no. I thought it would. Because the manufacturer didn’t tell me that it wouldn’t. Maybe there’s a time limit or a maximum depth of water that shouldn’t be exceeded. Maybe there are extra precautions that should be taken, or sealant or taping at the top to prevent overflow. Maybe. But the maker gave no warning. And I suffered the consequences. I know this is not a “short” review, and I am sorry it’s a negative one. I truly wanted these to be the solution. I have some other leg protectors made of neoprene which I pump the air out of to create a vacuum. But they are not foolproof either, and they’re embarrassing to wear because they’re so bulky and unsightly. I hope my comments help improve this product, or the directions if I did it wrong. But if there is no remedy, I will want my money back.

Thank you for your review. Our Waterproof socks contain a membrane inside which extends up the sock to the cuff- this means that the sock functions in the same manner as a wellington boot, waterproof to the cuff but with a regular opening for the legs and feet to be placed inside. The membrane inside will prevent water from passing through the outer layer of the socks and into the inside layer, however, they will not be able to prevent water from running inside the socks through the leg opening. The cuffs of the socks function as a regular sock would and whilst they do offer a close fit to the legs, they cannot provide a vacuum or a watertight seal. If the socks are immersed in water above the cuff, it will run down inside the socks through the leg opening and fill them up. Once inside the membrane will hold the water until it is emptied out. Unfortunately, our socks are not suitable for swimming or any activities where the socks will be fully submerged under water. If a watertight seal is required, we would recommend looking towards products such as cast covers which can offer a complete seal against the skin and will keep any limb contained inside dry and protected. Great quality product, purchased size 9 - 11 cycling overshoes. I could just get them on my size 9 feet. Impossible with shoes. They seemed to be more a size 5. So possibly miss labelled, but no explanation from Sealskinz. Very speedy refund.

Our Overshoes are available in two types- Open Sole which allows them to be worn with bulkier shoes and footwear types and Closed Sole which is suitable for slim-fit Road Cycling shoes. The final fit of the Overshoes can be affected by the shoe type as larger shoes, bulkier soles and shoes with features such as large straps and buckles can mean that a larger Overshoe may be required to accommodate the extra width and height of the shoe. The fingers are far too short. The join where the gloves fingers meet are at the level of my first knuckle. I have other gloves that I bought off the shelf that fit perfectly. I measured the width of my hand before I ordered the Sealskinz gloves and I was hoping that they would be warmer than the gloves I already have. But the fit of the fingers is so bad that I don't wear them.

I’ve bought gloves and a hat before and always been happy with the quality. This time I bought merino socks and honestly I wish a had spent a bit more and bought elsewhere.

Cheap overpriced junk, so flimsy the hat band wont even stay in place its always folder down on your forehead, the junk adjusting clasp lock wont stay fastened. this think is a joke

Poor sizing on gloves. Sizing small, X-Large did not fit Magnets did not work, bad position, would keep finger back, Very disappointed

Your cyclist overshoe was not even close to the proper size to be worn over my shoes; in fact it was a snug fit on my foot without a shoe; also, who doesn’t provide a return bag and label when shipping products? Sealskinz won’t be getting business from me in the future.

Our Overshoes are designed to fit according to your shoe size, however, the final fit can be determined by the shoes themselves as not all shoes will be of the same construction with some bulkier, wider and larger than others.
