“I wish Sealskinz would go back to the design of their old baseball style caps - the old ones had much more material and adjustable bit at the back. The new cap is ok and I will wear it but I look at my old worn out one on the peg and wish I could get an updated version of that”

We would recommend considering the Langham cap which is the updated version of our same great cap we have been making for years. “On your end things went fine,but when you turn it over to a third party shipping company thats when things got out of hand.it took two and a half weeks for the order to arrrive.it was not easy finding out information about my order at all. you should have one of your US employees order something and see ! nNow if yor going to tell me that " its out of our hands" dont email me back and i will go back to wearing Dex Socks.”

“Firstly the hats stitching came undone. A replacement was swiftly dispatched, however, the package was delivered to the wrong address and took several days to find. The replacement hat will now not be used until the winter.”

“Very poor delivery experience. Parcel was left on front doorstep, despite clear instructions to leave with a neighbour if no one was home. The parcel was left for over 12 hours, and so could only easily have been stolen, but also indicated that the house was empty during that time. While the product ‘Southery Gauntlet’ is made of good quality materials, the sizing information is not very accurate. Also, and most importantly, for a piece of equipment that is described as ‘Extreme Cold Weather’ and for which the description includes: ‘Built for winter pursuits - skiing, mountaineering, snow trekking and winter cycling’, I would really have expected glove retainer straps to be able to remove after a period of intense exercise to stop the hands from sweating and making the inside of the gloves wet.”

“Bought these gloves to keep my hands warm winter riding. Sort of work! My index fingers on both hands went numb though and I found them too ‘fat’ at the finger tips. This meant that I kept getting the material stuck between the brake lever and the gear shifter, especially on my right hand. I’m a medium but found the finger length a bit too long. I also found I couldn’t get into my top tube bag very easily to get munchies out. They are well made but for me, too cumbersome.”

“I recently purchased a pair of Sealskinz heated gloves. The build quality of the gloves is excellent, but the battery and heating elements within the gloves could be be better as when they are on full heat setting they don't seem to get that warm.”

“The gloves I received have a fold in the inside material across the palm of one of the gloves. This makes them uncomfortable to hold a walking / ski pole. I will not buy on line from you again as your quality control is not good enought to trust first class products. Sorry.”

“Nice colour combination but the inner liner means it's impossible to pull the hat right down over the ears. It's the right circumference for my head just not as deep as my other hats so it feels like it might fall off. Its definitely waterproof and keeps the head warm without sweating so it seems to be breathable too.”

“It took way to long to have the hat delivered. I am used to receiving standard delivery orders within 2 or 3 days not two weeks. Was it on a slow boat from China? Now that I have the hat, I like it.”
