I ordered a Sealskins Heydon Hat (Version 3). I received a Heydon Hat (Version 1) I Returned the hat the same day for refund and only received a partial refund. SOPHIE from Sealskins customer service was horrible to deal with. She insisted version 1, 2 & 3 are “all the same hat with different logo’s” I have already owned v1 & v2 hence why I ordered v3 as a newer looking logo on the hat Sophie!

Product is excellent but not true to size. Also I was not aware that sealskinz is shipping out of UK to european customers even though website appeared to be local. Which means lead times are ridicously long, returns are very expensive and exchanges very slow. Support is quick, friendly and engaged but shippig from UK is a no go.

Not really that impressed with the waterproof statement.. only 6 hours in continuous rain and my hands were soaked. Waste of £50

I have had a number of pairs of sealskins and hats all of which have been amazing. This pair of gloves was an XL but were very small, possibly 2 sizes too small. Bottom line: love the brand. This pair looked like they had the wrong size label on them.

I ordered a pair of waterproof gloves, size XL, that were advertised as being for extreme cold. When I recieved the gloves, the fit was tight around my hands but the fingers were a half inch too long. The gloves were stiff making it difficult to bend my hands and fingers. Normally a size XL glove fits loose on my hand but the finger lenght is fine. My hands were not warm at temperatures a few degrees below freezing and I would not call this extrem cold. I was excited to receive the gloves but after wearing them, I was very dissapointed. I would like to return the gloves for a full refund if possible.

I bought the Harling gloves, ordered the size according to the measurements shown and the glove is a bit snug, I worn them for the first time and it was cold rainy day, the gloves were soaked and my hands freezing cold, I called customer support and I’m being told that I can’t return/exchange them because they have been worn, but I’m being offered to buy another pair from them. The product is absolute rubbish and a waste of money and customer service is awful, won’t be buying from them ever again.

Ordering with Sealskinz has been a frustrating and disappointing misadventure; after nearly four weeks and a lot of emails, I have half my order and no refund. The saga: I bought a waterproof beanie and a pair of waterproof gloves from the website, placing my order on 16th October with 48hr delivery. No order arrived; I contacted them about a week later; they told me that my order might still be on its way, and that their policy was to wait ten days to before resending packages. Ten days duly passed, and no parcel; I contacted them again; Sealskinz blamed Royal Mail and they agreed to resend it, and said that they would resend it express. Yet again, no package arrived. Sealskinz blamed DPD; DPD blamed Sealskinz. Finally, after more back and forth, Sealskinz said that they would resend it again. It finally arrived on 7th November; I excitedly opened it, and found that the hat had a large, glossy peg mark. I left it, expecting the fabric to relax, but it did not. I promptly contacted Sealskinz again; they refused to refund until I sent the damaged item back, despite clear pictures of the damage. It'll be nearly a month, and it's been an awful lot of inconvenience with no hat and no refund to show for it.
