About Mountain Dog:

Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

Customer service, fast delivery, providing quality items, timely advice and all with a smile is at the heart of everything we do. We dont get it right all the time but this is always our objective.

“I needed to reach out to customer servcie regarding sizing of dog coats and received a very prompt response enabling me to place my order speedily. Order arrived quickly (despite being in a rural location) and was as ordered. Products are very nice and the dogs seemed to like their coats. We haven't road tested them but the company, product range and customer service are all very good.”

“Ordered a red medium ruff wear harness as it was on sale as I prefer the old colours compared to the new styles, item arrived promptly within days in undamaged state. Fits my spaniel well and colour looks good on her. Harness is expensive when not on sale but the last one I had lasted over 3 years so well worth the money.”

“Purchased two tethers to keep our Tollers secure in the car. Excellent, and prompt delivery. Haven't got picture of tethers in use, but here are the two dogs - Nacho and Sahara.”

“Excellent prices, lower than main dealer. Haven't found the returns as easy unfortunately. I received a packing slip on an email, but unfortunately have no printer, so had to find a shop to.print and oay for that as well as expensive tracked Royal Mail return for one item which was way too big even though I followed the sizing guide. Hoping I don't have to chase up my refund now.”

Sadly while the sizing used are 100% accurate from the manufacturer, different shapes can cause items to fit differently on some than others and not everything works for everyone. Here at Mountain Dog, as not everyone has a printer we are always happy to accept returns with either the original packing slip or a hand written identification note to help our team best process a return once it arrives with us. Rest assured all returns are natively processed the same day they land with us with the banking side of things normally only takes a few working day for them to do their bit for us all. “Advised on best harness and size to buy for my Labrador puppy. Very good price and delivered amazingly quickly. Will definitely buy next harnesses from Mountain Dog as Zac grows to full size and needs bigger harasses. Plus I like to support small local businesses especially in the NE of England.”

“Absolutely amazing service and products as usual. We went to hike and needed few things for my dog, one of the item was on the wrong size and they delivered so fast the replacement, everything was spot on. I just love Mountain Dog.”

“Very happy with the lightweight dog harness for my cocker spaniel. It's very easy to put on and off and dries quickly when wet. It doesn't attract her fur to cling to it so hopefully less matting on her coat. Delivery was extremely quick. Thank you.”

“I've ordered from Mountain Dog previously and always been happy. Our dog's lead failed recently, the spring loaded clip malfunctioned so wanted a safe replacement as a matter of urgency. Mountain Dog to the rescue. Web site made it super easy to chose a replacement and it was delivered within a couple of days along with a few other items our dogo said she needed. Thank you.”
