“JUST FANTASTIC, EASY TO ORDER AND QUICK DELIVERY. I NOW USE THEM AL THE TIME ~ MAYBE NOT QUITE THE CHEAPEST BUT DEFINITELY THE BEST SERVICE. I HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM TO MANY FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS. EXCEPTIONAL IS A WORD THAT BEST DESCRIBES.”

“Ordered seed and peanuts 8 days ago. Monday seed was delivered and left on doorstep in rain after requesting it to be left with neighbour. Peanuts never turned up. Repeated calls to dpd got nowhere. Phone Ivel 2 days ago to complain and I've heard nothing. Not good enough!!”

“We've bought the mealworm suet balls for some time now and the birds love them. We find it hard to keep up with them sometimes. They also love the fruit suet blocks. This time we also got some seed mix but haven't opened it yet. The quality is great, delivery is fast and the price is more than reasonable. We're very happy, as are the birds. Thankyou.”

“The bird food is excellent quality, hence the grudging three stars rather than one. However, the customer service was severely lacking. My order arrived with 3 boxes open and a bird feeder damaged. They tried to blame the courier company when I emailed (very nicely) about it, but it was the fact that they’d packed very heavy weights into cardboard boxes that just weren’t strong enough to take that weight. DPD had tried to tape the boxes to each other to make them easier to handle. They saw the one bit of tape around two of the boxes that DPD had used, and blamed them for the whole mess. The boxes had just ripped apart because of the weight, 26 kg in one, single thickness, cheap cardboard box, and 150 fat balls each in two of the same rubbish quality boxes. Randomly the box with the very light feeder in, was really strong and would have been perfect for one of the heavier orders. The feeder was damaged despite being packed very well, so it was in that state before it went in the box. There were fat balls missing because they’d fallen out of the big holes. When you tried to lift the boxes, they just ripped open even further because they were inadequate for the job. I’ve never had an order arrive in that state before, especially with DPD, and I’ve ordered a lot of heavy orders over the years. I was going to use them as my new bird food supplier (I place several high value orders through winter and spring), but their response was extremely lacking, and subsequently I won’t order from them again. I can’t afford for my orders to arrive with things missing. Blaming someone else for your own incompetence just topped off my decision. It’s such a shame because like I said earlier, the food is superb quality.”
