Good price Faulty parts Contacted phone 3times, 7 emails most of which stated undeliverable, given conflicting info between calls and emails, jumped through hoops, even photo, only to be told not good enough! Still wanted me to send faulty part weeks later Poor service

Item still not received 4 weeks after ordering, spoke to someone last week who promised delivery by Friday or a call to explain further delay. Apparently out of stock but not informed at any stage, I had to call myself, guess I'll have to call again for a refund.

The irony of bring asked to provide a review about a product and customer service I never reviewed. Sure thing after, I never received my items. I never received any reply to my email. If I could give 0/10 I would because on the whole you failed at every turn to deliver any kind of reasonable customer service. A quick email to say you had supply issues or the items were going to be late would have sufficed but instead it was just a stoney silence. Only wishing I'd read the other reviews before I ordered and saved myself the trouble.

Paid. Was advised it was despatched with 2-3 day delivery. 2 weeks later nothing. Called and was told it was being despatched. Another week nothing. Called again and someone was finally honest. It was not in stock and they could not estimate delivery. Should have been honest when the order was placed.

Terrible service. Made a small order on April 29th and have yet to receive it, despite the payment being taken immediately. Tried contacting to get information on the progress of the order and no one answered the phone or replied to my message. At this stage I just want my money back if you aren’t going to send my product.

Not had merchandise yet but just called to check where my confirmation of order email had gone and I have never felt like such an inconvenience! The rude little madam sounded like she was filing her nails and when I asked for the confirmation number of order via email, she said I have told you it. Fingers crossed that the product will be good and that they take a good long look at their so called customer care team!

I had to call twice since making my order over a month ago only to find that my order was not in stock. I received no notification about this at all. It would have been really helpful if I had been told at the time as when I ordered it online it said it was in stock.

Airer arrived with essential pulley missing & no explanation. I rang & was told there was info in the box (there wasn't). Product useless without this so was no point sending it. Said pulley would arrive possibly within a week, but we're still waiting. Shame as product looks but can't be put up. Happy to edit review if this is resolved.

Don't use they lie about having things in stock, when they will be in stock and even when they will be offering a refund. Search on Companies House shows they were nearly struck-off - I'd avoid at all costs.

Shocking; charged me, delivery link never worked; rang several times; they always promised to ring back but never did. Eventually got a refund, but no bits. Look at Trustpilot for a balanced view; don’t trust Ironmongery World.

We try to serve our customers in a best possible way. However, if you have been missed please accept our apology. As promised, you have been refunded.
The item ordered was a swivel ceiling hook. Quite frankly the quality is very poor and the large dome on the screw that fixes it to the ceiling prevents sliding the hook into place. I threw it away in disgust. If I could give no stars I would.
